Yeah I've been seeing a lot of complaints about horses turning stupid since the update. But haven't noticed it myself.
Also haven't had any disconnects, even though people seem to be having more of them. From discord it seems like it's affecting console users more than PC.
I've had no issues since the update. Maybe it's to do with the time I'm playing or something, cos I'm EU? I don't know what affects these things.
Unfortunately I bought a test horse and it seemed that stall is just glitched forever now , any horse put into it always spawns malnourished. Googling it people have said that it eventually may fix itself so I guess that’s my best bet.
Was trying to do some sean missions last night because he's a daily, two of them crashed my game, and then on the third the game disconnected me. Well fuck you too boyo.

So I just discovered that you can wear the garment sets without the animal hoods . Just go to the modify option in wardrobe and put hoods down. Which is good because the cougar jacket looks really nice but I didn’t want to wear it’s head lol.

I swear I wish other companies had the kind of layering and clothing options that RDR 2 has. I know the game was a huge effort, but its one of the few games that I play that has this many cosmetic options that actually respects things like hair choices and really some of the best clothing interactions with other pieces.
That and the weather systems in game are second to none.

The thunder storms are great, I just assume its because I'm in Seattle and so anytime I'm in a game rain comes with me.
But yeah I was leaving St Denis when a storm was kicking up and man I love when you can see lightning strike down and cause little flame hits.

Wow, I guess the script kiddies have mellowed out a bit. When I last played (January, I think?) they had just discovered how to crash your game by spawning insane amounts of junk attached to your character.

One of the dailies today is "take a photo of a dog" so I got to learn that a lot of towns and ranches have background audio of dogs barking but don't actually have a dog :mad:
A lot of player camps have dogs in them so you might look there, too. Granted it took me awhile to get my dog to stop following me so I could actually photograph him.
It seems Rockstar "fixed" the port-blocking method for solo lobbies. After about 5 minutes it disconnects you entirely. "Yeah we aren't going to do a damn thing about cheaters but DON'T YOU DARE try to get away from them for a time".

I only passed one player camp and they didn't have a dag. And I'm too poor to get a dag myself because apparently they cost the equivalent of a fighter jet in 1898 money.
I found one eventually in Blackwater. He got lots of pats.
Though I swear to fuck next legendary cougar I run into in the wild is getting the elephant gun. That blackwater cougar fucking almost killed me twice before I tranqued it finally.

Yeah that guy killed me once too , I didn’t expect to get ambushed outside my camp so near to black water. Also finally lvl 20 naturalist , rewards are great gameplay not so much. At least I won’t get pepper sprayed anymore.
I hope Harriet appreciates me getting eaten by an invisible gator during an attempt to draw an unhealthy amount of blood from an unconscious snake. ...who am I kidding, she'll probably yell at me for allowing it to chip a tooth on my skull.
So any guess for the drip feed content we are getting tomorrow? I’m going to guess 2/3 clothing items and some discounts on a role or two . Also people are reporting that you straight up cannot buy the butchers table to start the trader role since the update.

It sounds like a lot of shit is broken since the update. Like apparently the weapons locker they added to story mode is bugged which is annoying because I was so glad to finally be able to stash most of my weapons. Lots of people saying their horses have gotten dumber, hunting wagons don't work, and of course the disconnect problems. Which is something they specifically said they fixed with the update.
So far all I've had is one neverending loading screen and a glitch where a pelt shows on my horse even when I don't have one. I've got lucky so far, but every time I play it's so suspenseful waiting for something to break.
I've had a few cases where my horse just stops and refuses all control, and one where I couldn't mount at all. But I'm on PC so no telling if bug or bored cheater.
My horse does also seem a lot dumber than I remember but I just assumed it was bad memory on my part.

No the horse thing is an in game bug I've had it before.
What I hate is crashing or dc'ing when one of the naturalist tasks is not killing animals for *blank* amount of game time.

I got hit with a bug last night. A cougar jumped me on the trail, and I killed it. I wanted to turn it in to my camp since those are worth good $$$ for a trader, so I went to summon my hunting wagon to save it for later since I was far away from my camp or a fast travel point. But I couldn't. The game said that it was already being summoned. My camp was on the other side of the map, so I hiked to the nearest fast travel point to fast travel over. Upon arrival, the cougar had vanished from my horse.

Yeah the hunting wagon not spawning seems to be really common. Apparently you can fix it by going to a stable and getting it manually? I'm not a trader so can't say for sure though.

Spent good three to four hours checking out the lemoyne rivers , neither gator spawned. At least the two are close to each other and there isn’t any cross map nonsense.
I tried logging on for my dailies tonight and I can't go more than two minutes before getting kicked off of the game. I'll be a little peeved if this keeps up and R* is the reason that I lose my streak. I think that the only dailies that I'd have time to do are stuff like "drink antique liquor"

I had the least stable session I've had yet but it wasn't too bad. Think I got DC'd 4 times but with about 15 or 20 minutes between each one.
Course I wasted a lot of that time because I misread "kill 1 peccary" as "kill 5 peccaries" and then spent ages running back and forth between spawn points.
Can you craft improved arrows in online? I don't seem to have the recipe. For that or split point ammo. I only have a repeater, a varmint rifle, and a bow with normal arrows at the moment, so most of those pigs ended up bleeding out.
I think it’s dynamite,fire,poison, small game ,tracking arrows for online. All unlocked at the fence for a hefty sum . Took me quite a bit to unlock them all.

I think I ran into a random event earlier, though not one I've ever seen in single player before (this was online). It was a crashed wagon with 2 corpses, one O'Driscoll and one Stranger. I looted them both but there was also a sack that was shining like something important but I couldn't interact with it. Anyone come across that before? There was also a pack of wolves there but I don't know if they were part of it or just coincidence.
I have like 11 gold now. So close to being able to buy a role.

Oh god there is a set for each legendary animal. I thought it was one for all boars all foxes etc. apparently each subtype has its own color.
That would seem very easy for me to skip as I don't care about color variety.
Up to level 16 naturalist. Just doing dailies, events when they pop and tranquing half the west.
