Dell Laptop Charger

My girlfriend's puppy ate through her Dell Inspirion laptop charger on my watch. I need to buy a new one for her.

I would prefer to buy one at a B&M store instead of ordering one online.

Any ideas where I could get one? Would Best Buy have something like that?

    they're not going to carry a dell charger, but they will likely have a universal charger (that has several different plug-ends to fit into various laptops

    my advice would be to pick up the exact model charger for her dell on ebay... you'll have it in a few days, and it'll be much cheaper

    In case you don't want to do Ebay, Discount Electronics (discountelectronics.com) has a lot of Dell parts and accessories for pretty good prices.

    It is a B&M, but it's in Austin, so that'd be kind of a drive for the pleasure of walking out with a purchase.

    Actually I was planningn going to Austin tomorrow to see my brother so that would work fine. I'm actually familiar with the store. Thanks much for the reminder. :)

    Dell Chargers send a signal to Dell systems identifying their voltage. No signal = no charging of the batteries, "for safety reasons".

    Some office stores MAY have official Dell chargers. Staples, Office Depot/Max, etc. But for the most part you'll need to shop online.

    My university's computer store carries Dell chargers, since they're a licensed Dell repair shop.

    Maybe A&M's computer repair shop will have what you need, since you're in College Station?
