Names forever ruined.

Let's face it, each of us at some time or another have found certain names uniquely charming or perfect for future spawn. For others, we may have never heard the name before in our lives or had it really hammer home and stick.

Then they come along, the people who forever etch that name as their own. No matter what you do, you always associate that name with that person or thing until someone breaks the hold, only to take that title for themselves.

An example if you will. When I was young, this was the only mental association I had to the name "Vivian" in any iteration:

After about 4 years of bumming around here, a second appeared:

Then two weeks ago, that all changed again. Welcome new inhabiter, make yourself comfortable, and please give me that damn netbook you're holding!

What do certain names mean to you, and why is that person so firmly etched on that word?
