In short: Nadya Suleman recently gave birth to octuplets, placing her overall child count at 14. Suleman is a single mother for whom the sperm donor was a "friend". She has no "clear source of income", by which it is meant "no job". Here is a brief interview from Today:

What do we think? Is Nadya Suleman justified in birthing as many children as she desires? Are financial concerns secondary to the "right to parent"? Is Nadya Suleman an insane person who selfishly continues to create children without any regard for her own financial responsibilities or the consequences her situation will have for these living things? Is it sensible for a society to legislate and control reproductive action or is every individual able to reproduce as they see fit?
