I'll second that facial hair can make a big difference. You should try a handlebar mustache.
Don't actually try a handlebar mustache. Try the sideburns

Your hair is fine, dude. If you want something a bit more stylish, just stop parting it (comb it straight forward) and mess it up a little. If the feathering bothers you, a different (or not using) conditioner might help with that.
But yeah, came for the awful, stringy, bowl-cut, badly dyed hair, left disappointed.

Have it a bit longer but keep it spiking up
If you need some variation, grow out your sideburns.

Also, don't try to grow sideburns. Your facial hair, at this point, doesn't look like it'd be thick enough.
Sounds harsh, but I had to come to terms with the same problem myself
Your hair looks goo, though you could grow it out a bit longer.
I do shave, I just didn't the day I took the picture, hence the teenstache. I'm normally clean-shaven.
wasted pixels: I can't not part it. No matter how I comb the thing, a little part forms in the middle. It's maddening. And I don't use conditioner.
Improvolone: I've combed my hair the same way for like, six years.
Stop cutting it, it gives you more options.
