It depends, I've seen a few keep sieges broken up by a bunch of people in the next Tier, and that pisses me off to no end. I know that's just good organization on some level, but it really takes away from the competitiveness when you just have your big brother ruin people's shit for you.

Seriously. Core isn't a PvE server or some shit.

They are servers meant to have protections against lame things like that.

I'm probably going to resub this Sunday so I was wondering a couple things. Mostly, I used to be in T6M, is that guild still going, maybe a low level alt guild (think my witch elf was 18ish)? Also, how are WE these days? Still painfully crappy in keep sieges?

Next patch is fixing lockpicking, which should be quite interesting.

Ok, Point of Contact in Undead Lords to get tagged are:

Xers, Gitma, Terrox. They're probably anonymous so just try sending them a tell during the evening. I'm gonna get my guy tagged up to tag people as well so I can just idle and holler at me when you need one.

When contacting them, please reference yourself as T6M and a friend of Thero/Zophar.

    for me it's quite simple
on core servers there seems to be less rvr whether in scen or open
so for me, open server is worth the occasional gank because I don't have to wait 2 hrs for a scen to pop or go solo objectives

Personally, I can't stand how every elf's face is a hideous mockery of all that is good and holy.

I do like the screams they make as they burn, however.

That's because the helmets are chokers that cover the neck fully, so it doesn't look unnatural. If they stood any other way, they'd clip through their armor. When the armor covers them, you won't be able to tell.

Also you will look like a borg.

    Myoujouborg.jpg

You can see the armor covering the whole neck from the chest to the chin in that shot.

Ouch. I lost a half dozen scenarios in a row due to *awesome* healing on the other side, tonight. The last had a rank 5 Archmage kicking out 14k... about the total on Destruction side.

On a related note, Magi are really, really, really squishy. If the other side wants you dead, you're dead.

Well, the bitching is still there and it's still true.

Witch hunters are actually getting nerfed in the next patch. Not that hard, but they're still getting nerfed. For some stupid non-sensical reason. If there's two classes that don't need nerfs, it's witch hunters and squig herders and they're nerfing at least one of them.

E.V.E.R.Y.B.O.D.Y. is getting nerfed without regard for the individual classes power or not. This is not a class patch, it's something else. You'll have to wait for the patch focused on your class I bet.

However, if everybody is getting reduced.... well you can't really look at your class and whine, because your class is not alone. It's not a nerf if everybody else gets brought down equally is it.

There's a lot of system wide changes in that patch, and a lot of changes equally hitting similar archetypes. Not all are equal, but overall the feeling is of the focus being on something other than each individual class.

I'm pretty much holding every "woe is me" call worthless until everybody has got at least a week of gameplay under their belts. Sorry if that offends, I just see the changes as too widespread to easily make a call on, especially when most people are only really looking at their own class and that classes mirror.

I switched to Path of Vaul from Path of Khaine on my sword master because I got annoyed with the lack of healers in scenarios. I just wish there was a way to use a great sword and still gain the benefits of blocking, because sword masters just look wrong with a sword & board (like just make a great sword that has the benefits of a shield, but only does standard sword damage).

On the plus side, I love running into a group of enemy players and watching them attempt to kill me only to be met with so many absorbs and blocks they don't know what to do.

One time I was leveling my WP in pve when a dok came across me. He did a taunt emote to initiate a fight and I obliged. We fought it out for around 5 minutes with no end in sight and I was getting bored of it. We would simply heal ourselves up and the fight would continue.

So I did a /bow to the dok and tried to walk away. They would not let me. I then did another /box and snared then before walking away, again they chased. They sent me back a /chicken or two and tried to follow me but I was beyond their reach so they decided to flee after me. This was a mistake as I turned around and destroyed them because they had no action points or mechanic points.

This concludes my entire 1v1 experience with a dok vs wp.

The only time I ever fought a wp on my chosen, at around 18, it was a slow, slow affair. I could tell, in the same way one can tell that an iceage is about to occur, that I was going to lose.

Well I guess that's why the industry caters to that cowardice play style.

I think for a lot of people though, the danger involved adds another level to game play. If a higher level came and killed you while you are questing, are you going to go elsewhere (if he is sticking around) or rally some people and take him out?

Servers also usually settle in and you have defenders. These are higher level folks who enjoy running around their own realms and killing gankers.
