Guys, I'm going back to uni in a couple of weeks, and I want to make sure I'm 100% organized. So how do you guys keep all your stuff together?

I'll be doing four differant subjects this semester, so should I have a folder for each one, or store two units per folder? How do you guys stay organized? Any tips would be great, I'll have a heavy work load and I don't want any of it to get out of control!

I keep each module in a separate ring binder. Any other way is a route to confusion.

I'd use one folder per subject personally. If you have a heavy work load, the key is to not fall behind. Doing the work each day is infinitely better than cramming before a test or project/paper is due.

I usually just keep a notebook per subject. How you take notes usually depends on what works for you.

Get one of these. Basically you keep some line paper in there and slide your notes in the proper section after class. Once you get home you transfer the notes into the proper ringed binder. This keeps you from having to bring a bunch of ringed binders to school and keeps your papers from getting all messed up in your bag.

Everyone has their own system but this is the only thing that has worked after years of college hahaha :)

I use an expanding file too. Personally I like it much better than ring binders--if I get a print out or something I don't have to punch holes in it.

I use a notebook and a duotang for each class. The notebook for taking notes and the duotang for any handouts.

Thanks guys, I guess this was a pretty obvious question but I just needed some opinions. I'm studying sciences so a lot of notes will be inevitable. I'll probably stick with individual binders!
