Welcome to my Let's Play of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay! This is my first Lets Play so don't yell at me. This is a voiced Lets Play so I'll try to get videos out every couple days or so.
Lets skip all the details and get right to the first video!!

So these videos are in HD on Youtube, so I will be strictly linking to them. Don't watch them in abysmal quality! Since this is Youtube, the vids will be in 10 minute chunks.

    Neither did I. I stopped at the part where you jump down a vent and are hiding from some robots or guards or something.

    Thats a shame, I had to jump through some hoops to get this running. For example installing a euro patch and using a noCD crack finally got it working. Weird stuff.

    Anyway video 2 should be up tomorrow, although this level is in 3 parts because of the youtube limit. God, uploading HD takes a while.

    You know i just noticed in that picture of Riddick, his hands are inhumanly large. Really, look at them, if he were to open his hands his palm alone would be as large as his entire face.

    Liking it so far. I was genuinely interested in the game a while back, but just never picked it up. I might pick up Assault on Dark Athena when it comes around, because of the inclusion of the remake.

    I think half of my forum time will be spent, now, keeping up with Let's Plays. I'd complain if they weren't all good.

    I wanna watch this because I fucking loved EFBB, but for some reason HD videos in youtube play like shit as of two or three weeks ago. Jittery and all that. Any other high-res flash works fine, though.

    EDIT: Weird. It seems to playing alright, now. The "creepy!" sounds right out of Mortal Kombat 2.

    Fun Facts: The creepy was supposed to be after he said I own your ass. But I screwed up the alignment on that, so I'm saving that for the 20th Anniversary DVD.

    2-2 is up. (Hope you guys can keep up with my numbering scheme. :P)

    Pitch Black was kinda meh, a lot of alien things getting cut open, and some people getting eaten by said alien things. Not really much to talk about with it. This LP is pretty good, and interesting though

    I love Riddick.

    I haven't even watched any of the videos yet so I cannot comment on the substance, but you certainly do have the most stylish LP ever.

    It's shaping up nicely, I'd say. And yeah, those link images are stylin'. Very nice touch.

    That body landed over the toilet so awkwardly. It was so awesome that it was still there.

    This LP is great.

    To fill the downtime, just chat about the stuff they discuss in the developer commentary. Tidbits of behind the scenes info. You do kind of do a 'I'm walking now, and now I'm fighting. And now I'm walking again' sort of filler material between cutscenes or developments. Lord knows there is a shitload of trivia around the game.

    Good stuff though. The HD on youtube is slick as all hell.

    Oh thanks again guys! <3 About the commentary, sad thing is that I haven't finished it yet! I suppose I should play a bit ahead of each section and do commentary. This isnt too hard to do in little chunks. I'll try to do that Scarab. :)

    Holy fuck I'm glad games come on DVD's now.. 5 fricken' CD's.

    So I was having problems with the HD but the normal is so terrible in comparision, however with some tweaking the HD is working alot better now for me, still a little chopy but not too bad. I can now treuly enjoy this!

    At the rate this LP is going he should finish up nicely for DA release. Which would be super sweet.

    I'd say wait. Enjoy it now as an LP, then when you get dark Athena the new hotness will counter balance any spoilering this LP has done.

    Well, I say HUD but really the only thing thats chopped off is my health cubes.

    Part 2 of The Ward is up. The checkpoints are actually called Infirmary and Mainframe, but I like making new names.

    The next vid has my health in it.
