There's a tiny little sliver of the enemy's "back" that the backburner crits. The bad thing is is that it's mechanics actually WORK so no face burns or side burns or any of that. And once a enemy is aware of you, good luck getting crits. Especially agaisnt heavies who are impervious to flames, and after ten backcrits can still turn around and waste you even if you dance around flaming them for an additional two seconds.
Yea but dude the crit for the flamethrower is so damn strong, if you even get a second of nonstop crit fire you're most likely dead, or about to be.

Self-detonating nades that could roll and bounce just like regular nades. It was great cause you could bounce them anywhere and detonate = lots of body parts, but you couldn't lay them on walls or ceilings and such.

you think you have it hard predicting where your grenades will go in tf2? imagine if both of your main weapons were like that, and you had to account for rolls and crazy football bounces in order to defend a flag or something

Let's not forget the earliest and worst nerf of all - grenades not exploding on impact after they hit a surface. I can think of way better ways of reducing spamming than this, they could have atleast given it 1 bounce, or made it so they disarm completely after a bounce or two.

But yeah, I think it would be fair to have Level 3 Teleporters take longer to die from a Sap. Granted that might not help much.

Sapping shit so team mates can come in and wreck shit is useful. Backstabbing heavies on the cart is useful. Backstabbing uber ready medics is useful. Sapping the two or three entrances at the spawn is useful. Backstabbing you then sapping your turret is useful. Backstabbing flippy is, as every person on this board is aware, extremely fucking useful.
You like engy. That's cool. It makes sense you don't like the spy because you're one of the people they fuck with the most. They're still plenty useful.
