Does the scout double jump have some kind of distance or time limit on it? In certain situations I have maybe a 50% success rate with it.
Do you mean like jumping from a big height and expecting to double jump to stop the impact, but it doesn't happen and you go splat?
I think there's something like that in place. Either that or there's some kind of lag which screws it up.
It happens to me most when I try to jump too close to the edge, so the first jump is actually the midair jump, instead of a grounded one. Might this be the problem?
Yeah, the second jump has nothing to prevent it from being used. Unless you've already used it, of course
If you jump off the edge too late, you will use up your first jump when you walk over the edge, then your double jump is used on your "first jump".
The big height thing yeah, but also I notice it a lot on descending slopes. I can kind of see how it would get buggered jumping too close to an edge, but there are situations where it's frustrating because you're on a big open area with a decline but it won't work.
I thought by the raping babies part you'd catch that, but guess not.
