SciFi to pick up Kyle XY?

Wells, now that things are finally getting interesting (he built a hoverboard!), ABC Family has canceled Kyle XY. Probably because they showed non-stop advertisements for A Secret Life of an American Teenager and was all shocked when nobody knew season three of XY premiered (still got 2 million though.) So like all shows good or bad, there is a cult following, and a pretty big movement to get SciFi to pick up the show. Both ABC Family and SciFi have reported bathtubs being shipped to their offices, which sounds expensive.

I have mixed feelings about this. I kind of want ABC Family to see the error of their ways, because SciFi will cancel it in three years regardless due to poor contract negotiating. But on the other hand, if it moved to SciFi we might see less of the family friendly side and more of the hoverboard-making, building leaping, telekinetic-happy side of the bioweapon. Which would be nice, and hell SciFi can afford it. They just need to cut back on the D-level movies.

    I really enjoy Kyle XY, and hope that ABC Family gets their heads out of their asses and renews it and properly advertises it. It belongs on that network, clearly.

    This is sad. I love this show. I actually just watched the hover board episode last night. If only they could of advertised the new season a little better… If it takes getting picked up by the Sci-Fi channel to keep it alive, well then jump ship and on with the show!

    They've already said season 3 had a cliffhanger portion. I would like this to be resolved.

    might I remind you the show is called Kyle XY

    and the hook for the first season was that he had no belly button

    and it was on ABC Family

    That Secret Life of an American Teenager show mentioned in the OP is hilariously awful. I think I caught about a minute of it before I had to turn the channel in disgust.

    I know people can overdo the acting a bit but god damn...

    I've never heard of this show. I think the OP needs more details (unless there is another thread.) Is it a scripted show, or is he some legit genius engineer?

    I mostly watch the show only because I would bone the fuck out of Matt Dallas

    Who doesn't?

    It's a drama about a kid born in a tube at the age of 16/17 by a corporation who gets left in the woods after the shit hits the fan. He eventually gets adopted by the social worker who his handling his case. He of course was born in a tube because he was genetically engineered to be a biological supercomputer for less ethical reasons. Now he does more interesting things.

    If I liked a show I don't know that I would want it to be picked up by Sci-fi.
