I'm joining in the buttoneering again this year and was wondering, have most people been getting their buttons within a couple weeks or so? I'm hoping to have a little time to come up with a design this year before it's too late.
so im a moron and just spaced and forgot to order my buttons. Think if I do it tomorrow i'll still get them in time for PAX?
I'd say that you have plenty of time. It's probably safe to order until about the middle of next week, then it becomes a little more questionable with three weeks remaining.

Yeah contact them ASAP. The website is all kinds of screwed up. I had to cancel one order, re-submit another, ask them to put the discount on one (but not that one, the other one!), but they're very prompt and nice about it.

I've been following Purebuttons' twitter and they said their turnaround is down to 7 days (plus shipping of course), but they're working late to maintain that. For anybody who hasn't ordered buttons yet, I would recommend doing it ASAP. If you are outside of the United States, it is now strongly recommended you have your buttons sent to an American friend to make sure they arrive in time and do not get lost in customs.

Well, it's only going to be a few days before I have the real thing, then I can post a photo. Plus, this builds suspense, so when the design is finally revealed it's a major letdown.
On the discount, they charged the full amount to my credit card, then refunded the discount. I had the code in there, then mentioned the code and how it did not appear to apply the discount in the special instructions section.
hmm, im having trouble with their web site. Every time i try to use the promo code, nothing happens.

Yes, there are issues with it. Just put it in. Click the button. Then add in the special instructions that you are trying to use the code and then hopefully they will take care of applying it. They have been charging the full amount and then refunding the difference.
okay, like +10000 respect points for Pure buttons. After that whole coupon thing, my internet d/c'ed before I could pay and my order was lost but I still got a conformation e-mail. It was weird.
I e-mailed their customer support and they got back to me in like 20 mins and got the whole thing sorted out very quickly and professionally.
Yeah, definetly awesome. One guy contacted me about my design, said there was a bit of a flaw in it and asked if I wanted to fix it before he started making the prints. They say "all designs final!" on the website, but it was nice of him to take the time to let me know so I don't get something I didn't like.
