Wow...that's....wow.
I would love to have been in the concept meeting where they decided that would fly as T8.
Generic level 40 plate looks far better than that. Hell, Northrend leveling gear...cobalt gear...looks better than that.
What the hell blizzard?
I'd rather have power ranger gear.
Bleh. Not like I'll see much, if any of it anyway.
Also, don't expect boots to match, or if there are any it'll only be one peice of holy gear.
Seriously, why the hell are there 4 different 213 tanking boots that have Warrior 7.5 graphics, 3 200 tanking boots with warrior t7 graphics and the only boots that match pally T7.5 are holy, and for DK's they only get dps boots.
If you're already going to make half a dozen different versions of the damn boots would it be so much to ask to have them fucking match more than one classes armor? Really? Maybe it's just windrunner but there's 10 pally/dk tanks for every 1 warrior on the server as it is, why are all graphics made for them.
I don't care if they're not "set" peices. At least make them match so you're not wearing black boots with yellow power ranger armor.
Anyone noticed that the Ahn'Kahet map lists a boss where there is currently not a boss?
Someone checked on live, and the location specified by the map is currently blocked off by a spider web:
1000g for Dual Spec? COuldn't they have just made it a questline? I hate moneysinks. so much.
Yeah but everyone else hates quest lines, witness all the mount quests becoming irrelevant.
Plus if you can't come up with a 1000g with this latest expansion, you're just lazy.
No, not lazy as much as I have more important things to buy with my gold and I don't have time to do every Daily avalable each day. So I rarely have more than 300-400ish g on my person at any time, as I have to restock buff food, regem/reenchant, buy various other potions/flasks (and work on Alchemy leveling so I won't have to pay as much for that shit in the future.) it's really painful when I basically work, as far as money is concerned, to meet my next run's end's meet, and get situated when I get new pieces of gear. I've never been good at making money, because I invest so heavily in professions and making ends meet for PVE to be well prepared. I sacrificed Epic land mounts in vanilla WoW for a reason. because bandages, potions and such were all more important.
See, but Dual Spec is actually something you'll actually want to get. I could give less of a flying fuck about incredibly fast mounts that are prohibitively expensive. I do care, however, about an improvement to the Talent system, especially considering my current position:
Me: "I'd like the spec Arcane or something because I'm tired of dealing pitiful DPS because Blizzard hates Frost Mages."
Someone apparently data-mined an item called "Wind-up Train Wrecker." It's unique and BoP and has a 30-minute cooldown.
If it makes it live, I wonder if it will outright destroy the toy train set, or just disable it for a while?
It just really sucks that the shitwizards on my server like to charge, like, a ton of gold for RUnic Health Potions, and well, Flask of the Frost Wyrm is the real problem. just one of those are easily pushing 450g a bottle at times.
.....I can't discover Pure Death quickly enough. TBC herbs are cheap, and Pure Death, while not as awesome as Frost Wyrm, is stil a worth it buff for a much cheaper cost.
I'd be doing a lot better monetarilly, too. if I could sell some of this damn spellthread! but Noooooooooo, I need the epic thread from Exalted with kirin Tor, because idiots oversaturate and crash the market for the blue spellthreads.
I've been using Indestructible potions just because they're so much cheaper than runic healing (10g/stack versus 20+/stack), but if you're not a tank that probably isn't an option for you.

Healing pots are less of a problem now that I can just grab TBC herbs and make Supers. (I'm a Mage and can probably get away with it.)
And on the Flask situation, that price I saw before was a fluke, my guildies say, while there are quite a few jackass alchemists that overinflate flasks, the sensible ones to bring the cost down after a bit. So I guess I needed to wait, but when you're rushing to grab your consumables the ngith ebfore raid that isn't allways an option.

Saw that on WotLK Wiki. Not only should it destroy the train set, but it should delete the owner's gear, revert them to level one, fuck their mother and spit in their Cheerios.
450g for flask of the frost wyrm is pretty insane. I could get 10 of them for that price on my server. What are the mats selling for? Might be better to buy the herbs and find an alchemist who can make the flasks for you.

I need to transfer to that server for a few months and get a couple Traveler Mammoths. I sell like 50 flasks of endless rage a week at 50g a pop. The frost wyrm ones I cant get rid of them unless they are under 40g per.
You got some freakin lazy alchemists on your server man. Sounds like OPEC.
If I saw that the only flask on the AH was going for ten times normal price, I'd honestly just go "Fuck that!" and buy some elixirs instead.
I dunno, I tend to cave under the pressure of progression night preperation, and spend more gold than I probably need to.
I know when gemming I probably end up not guying the cheapest gem within reason because I want to just get the spots filled with something sizable. without having to get someone to cut for me.
Bt, Yeah, now that I think about it, I guess 1000g wouldn't be so bad. then I'd never have to respec again, as long as Blizz doesn't break Arcane too much. (I made a pledge to never spec Fire/Elementalist. plus Arcane is actually fun. Hell, being frost is more involved then being "lol I cast Frostfire Bolt and crit for massive damage all the times.")
Damn Northrend is huge. Im about 4 quests shy of 80 and have only done Borean, Grizzly Hills, Dragonblight and Zul Drak. Granted I got the quest acheivement for each zone but i look at the map and see i barely made a dent in exploring everything
They need to stop using humans to model sets for non-human classes.
I am pretty "meh" about the holy priest changes. I guess it's all towards the goal of nerfing mana regen. But do they have to do it in so many ways at once?
Also I wish they'd let me "champion" for Darnassus on my blood elf. I want a kitty mount goddamnit.

Well I hate that they hit mana regen, but don't change fights that seem to really be mana intensive. It's like they tuned the game assuming the players will play it a particular way and then tune it away from that when they don't. Like playing a table top with a super controlling gm.

I'm a bit concerned about the Insane achievement. I know it's supposed to be, well, insane to get it, but from my reading it's far easier to get exalted with ravenholdt as a rogue than it is for any other class, as you need 2000 heavy junkboxes which can only be pick-pocketed.

So, 300 gold a day, from like maybe half an hour's work, if that.
