The people of Gilneas are going to be pretty shocked to find out about all the shit they've missed in the past three(?) years.

Buguh we didn't wipe on Gluth25 but that sure was a nasty fight. MT Died, our backup tank picked him up, battle-rez on MT, backup tank died, MT picked it back up, DPS DK had to taunt, got gibbed by crit, but we downed him. Hilarious as my other kiter was going "should we go help?" and I said "no, you ignore that fight and pay attention to the god damned zombies and only the zombies. As far as you know that fight isn't going on and we're just doing some running for some exercising."

So back to the bullshit keyboard turning....I was MT a new naxx 10 group I started...mostly again through friends and friends of friends.
    It went...decent.
I think a few more hours of doing pve content without my keyboard turning and I'll be gtg.

Also Naxx10 is easy. I dont understand why some of my friends are finding it so fucking hard. Even going as far as being unable to clear either 10 or 25man Spider.
And I like bringing in new people. Sure we dont get achievements, but I'd rather see people get geared the fuck out than a bunch of sharded shit and us getting a few achievements...that may or may not result in a drake.

Everyone always shits on the government though the Post office, fire, police, and the IRS all seem to be run pretty efficiently. I mean shit Citi needed bail outs due to their stupidity, someone else should get a turn.

And yeah everyone was kind of surprised we kept going (a pug person we took was probably pissed because he kept complaining about how slow we were going yet he died during the first "dance"). For me it was great because it was my second time fighting heigan ever and I lived for 14 freaking minutes.

Well, ultimately the government changed the regulations allowing non-loan worth people to get home loans, so they aren't blameless. Post Office had to raise rates and implement massive closures and layoffs, and I'm not aware of any federal police or fire department, those are city/county/state run.

That's part of it, one thing I've found that helped is you don't take damage when its going back down, so once you see it on a down turn run to where you just saw something shoot up and then stop, don't overshoot it.

Stay pretty close to the platform - don't watch your feet - watch where the lava bursts ahead of you, then step just inside of the beginning of the area you saw burst on the last "surge". It works, trust me- most people jack themselves up by getting too far away from the platform and wind up having to run a lot farther than it looks.

    Do you still experience it?

Tricks we used that finally insured 90% of everyone survives:
    • Mark the tank who should always make it
    • Tell people to use it as a guide, never overshoot, but don't try to "follow" if you follow, you'll die because of latency
    • Don't stand too far on the edge zones, walk barely into it, spin around, your barely turns into "pretty far in" once it comes back up for the clink back because it's designed for people lagging behind to not get gibbed too hard.
    • Don't follow, don't follow, don't follow, drill that into people's face. When you see a green slime wave, move, pretend you're soloing him.
    • Don't stop until you're done, many people forget it repeats about a time and a half. You'll end in zone 2.
    • run up to the platform if you're ranged at the end of the dance, if you do it fast enough you won't get diseased
    • Stress that everyone who can get diseases off needs to do so. Paladin tank? Get diseases off. I usually net more dispells than any healers in that fight because I don't need to heal anyone.

It's more the fault of banks refusing to refinance ARM loans that they gave out three years ago that broke the system. People who get adjustable loans don't expect to pay them beyond their fixed term (IE 3 years in this case, we have another wave coming a year from now, and another one after that in three years when those 5/7 year fixed's go variable.) The people with these loans expect to refinance them back to a reasonable rate that they can pay.

But, oh, oops, your house is now worth less than half what you paid for it, and no bank will refinance a $400,000 loan on a $200,000 house. Guess you'd better start paying that 8% interest rate, eh? Oh! Wait again, you can't afford that because it's fucking ridiculous, guess you'd better give your house to the bank, which lowers home values, which starts the cycle anew!

I always strafe on Heigan. The only time I've ever died is to waves was on the first attempt. I find strafing to be much easier, because, as the poster above said, it makes it extremely clear when I cross boundaries.
