    I used to use buttermilk but now I started using cream cheese in the mix. It's fucking great.

    i was going to plan a grouper trip the week before, but i've rescheduled. i'll still drive VA to LA. so our roadside vendors will mostly be beef jerky and peanuts.

    OOH! how about some jalapeno boiled peanuts! with no small amount of hesitation do i admit to having a family recipe. somewhere around here.

    Maybe it's the boiled peanuts I've had, I don't know. The boiled were all mushy and almost bitter tasting.

    I much prefer roasted over boiled.
