Good question. Was wondering the same thing myself today.
Last mention of something podcastish was a post by Gabe about another recorded D&D session. I think it was up to WOTC to release, though... and so far, it appears they haven't.
Mike has said that they're sort of hesitant about doing the podcasts, because (and I'm paraphrasing) "When we listen to them, we realize how much time we waste talking about absolutely nothing and don't make any progress on actually getting the comic done."
But yeah, they have the most spastic release schedule with the podcast. It took me a while to get used to, but they pretty much just release them whenever they feel like it, whether it's six days, six weeks, or six months between episodes, they've never had a concrete release schedule.

I'm glad they released it, but I'm disappointed in the quality. I realize it must be tough to find a good spot to end it, but cutting it mid-sentence is harsh.
Yeah, I thought that, too. But other than that the 'quality' is great. I was just glad it was funnier than the first episode of the first game which started off good when they were talking about names then pretty much nothing funny is said for the rest of the 40 minutes.
Its a real shame because their podcast was by far the funniest evar.
Even if they were just talking, if was fucking good stuff and it had me rofling on several occasions.
Also, it made the comics that little bit funnier, listening to how they got to the point of their final idea.
I think it's a good thing that they're being so spontaneous with them. Quality over quantity.
Yeah, I figured they always had the record on and only posted them when something funny came out of it. I can't imagine that every single conversation they have is comedy gold. I can't imagine that even a majority of their conversations are funny.

That might be it, but man I would kill for a regular podcast of that quality to entertain me.

Edit: Is the DND podcast on itunes?
Thanks for the heads-up! (I swear it wasn't available when I last checked.)
Yep. Just search for "Dungeons & Dragons Podcast".
