As the Mac thread has tombstoned, I figure I'd drop this in a thread all on its own.
I switched to mac in time for the 1st Gen of MBP. I love this thing.
2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo
2 GB of RAM
ATI X1600 w/ 256 MB
I bootcamp my baby for the odd game... CoH mainly, but DoW, Portal, Battlefield 2... I had a few phases. And I do quite a bit of photography and home movie making.
I'm now thinking that I might upgrade to the latest version. I don't quite like the style as much, and the loss of the silver keyboard seems criminal to me... But I'd like to get an idea about the jump in performance that I might get.
Does anyone know where I can get benchmarks for the entire MBP range?
