    I guess I get the concept, but would have to see it to really understand this game.

    At least with katamari damacy the explanation is: You roll around and pick stuff up like a snowball that gets bigger and bigger.

    After watching some youtube videos I have no idea how this is a game...

    But I loved Katamari so hard that I am considering picking up a PS3 for this.

    The only thing I've seen of this game is a screen shot where a pig was riding the worm thing.


    I feel like I probably have a full understanding of the game from that.

    I thought the katamari guy had stopped making videogames to focus on the lucrative carreer of designing playgrounds.

    I haven't played it but the basic gist is you have to eat stuff, which makes you fat, so you have stretch out to not be fat, and I guess it's like Katamari where you have to hit a certain length to beat the level?

    And then when you're done all of your excess length gets transferred over to a main internet worm that everyone's excess length gets transferred to and it stretches out into space and the more people play the game the longer it gets.

    No, I believe he was just asked to make a playground, or wanted to make a playground. I think it was only a one time thing.

    Although I sure want to see how that playground turned out.

    Well apparently if you eat things in a certain sequence you poo out a combined version.
    And if the internet snake reaches different planets, more things open up to do in the game.

    Tycho makes it sound like there is no real "game" here beyond the playground, which is what I was afraid of after watching the gameplay videos. That is disappointing because the best part of Katamari was going from ant-sized to sucking up skyscrapers and whole islands in one level. It was the progression and the goal of getting as big as possible that was the hook.

    The physics and concept look neat but I'll wait to hear more info about the game behind it.
