Why yes, I do expect you to give Frankie psychedelic drain.
Could I attempt some sort of active resistance using Logic (or possibly Intuition, though both should be four at this point) and Willpower or something along those lines?
Also, I think our characters need to be communicating a bit more. It's perfectly understandable for Key to not immediately call and tell us something is chasing her while still in the process of being chased, but the team members not actively engaged in something else should probably be telling each other what's going on around them. Mueller sees the cats on the rooftops but aside from Crow, who is right beside her and can see what she's doing, nobody else has been told "Hey, look out for giant cat attacks from above!"
Y'know, teamwork and all that. Plus, the team doesn't have a hive mind. Characters shouldn't be preparing for attacks they shouldn't be aware of; I know nobody has done that yet, but it's just something to watch out for so we don't have to retcon things.
Otherwise, things are moving along nicely. The bad guys are starting to poke their heads out and things are getting tense. Good times so far!
Yumi used her incredible cyborg strength and shot an arrow around the world and into her own back.
I don't want to nag, but I also don't want this game to just up and die.
Whew, glad to hear it. I was a little worried about the lack of people posting and whatnot.
Anywhere from 1 to 6 stories I'd say. Typical turn of the century city scape (not including outliers like New York).
As for The Juice, I am sure I can reign him into some PbP if he hears about it.

Will of the Council - Starting with you, each player votes for death goblin.
How advanced is its AI? I actually enjoy tachikoma level drones.
Does it have speakers?
Blargh! Well, real life takes precedence. Don't suppose anyone else can do the GM stuff? Maybe one of the old Bishop players who missed the start of this round?
This game had so much potential, too. Ah well.
I should be leaving on April the 2nd. So we're good to go until then. I'll have a talk with Hayasa and see how he wants to take over GMing duties. So let's have some fun before I go for months on end away from civilization.
As such, I'll have to withdraw my offer as I don't want to have to pike out once started, or slow the game down to a crawl.
Personally, I've been waiting to see if things would get cleared up. I didn't know the GM status so I didn't know if there would be any point in playing. You might want to try sending out PMs to the other players, though, because it's possible they read the part about you having to give up the game and then figured there wouldn't be any point in reading the thread any longer.
Hopefully we should be able to finish at least the one run within the next couple weeks if we get everybody back on board quickly enough. If we do manage to resume playing, I think we need to institute a policy of people posting at least once a day. If they don't post, we don't wait for them and just sort of drag them along for whatever we're doing. That way if people miss a day, they can read the thread to catch up on what's going on andwe can keep the game moving.
I'd say the biggest hurdle so far has just been waiting for people's responses to the presented situation. While I could personally post more frequently than I do now, I don't want to because I don't want to overshadow anyone else. When we're waiting a couple days for posts that are only a few lines, it slows everything down enormously.
*Damn you and your sandwich unnamed unresponsive player.
