Okay, I didn't know where else to go.
You guys seem to have an amazing knack of things...
I'm trying desperately to remember who did a song that I remember growing up. I've searched with what very little info I have, and so I challenge you H/A to name that tune!
basically I know it starts out with a very short fast plucking of guitar sort of solo, and then sorta settles into an easy rythym and is mostly a single acoustic guitar, then at some point a synth type organ/keyboard enters the mix.
Think along the lines of ELO or Alan Parsons (could be either one of those, but none of the music videos I've tried so far have been it).
Also there is a solo male vocalist and somewhere in there of a chorus lyric is soemthing like "you say it's alright"
If I could describe the general rythm of the guitar in the song the best I could do would be
Ba da ba dum... dum, (pause) dum dum and sorta repeats like that.
Good luck and a gold star to any one who leads me to the right answer and helps me satisfy this craving to hear the song ;op
