Great third person action adventure with an emphasis on exploring/puzzle solving. The combat is wonky, but fun. The plot's great, voice acting is SUPER great, graphics are above average, and 16volt contributed to the soundtrack. 16volt is a great, great band (if you're a real man); so that's a good think.
Everybody should just read the rules and bugger off if they can't follow them. I can't think of any title that's obscure and worth playing. Uhh ...

If this is going to be an Obscure Games thread, I say go the full nine and list whatever comes to mind. If people want obscure PS1 recommendations, why not give it to them?

Seriously. This thread seems to be nothing but one guy asking everyone else to suggest games for him personally and then throwing a hissy fit at any tiny little deviation. And of course, what he's asking for is completely and undeniably awesome games that have no following or any name recognition here at PA, which is a bit like asking your friends to point you at the lonely drunken nymphomaniac supermodel crying into her beer all alone in the corner at a fraternity party. Quit being an unrealistic controlling dickhole and just let people talk about the somewhat-obscure-and-sligthly-flawed-but-still-cool games they like.
