hahaha yeah, that's how I am with my mechanical pencil. I've actually bought a handful more of the same pencil, because I love 'em so much, and I tend to lose one temporarily...so having 2 around works perfectly.

It's the same pencil that I brought with me on the Toronto trip, that Sonic/Tyler also used, hahaha. They're super. Pentel T3 (Techniclick, I think they're called, or something).

Fun NightDragon fact: I also always have two chapsticks, because like my mechanical pencils, I usually lose one at a time!

    I've got a .07 with HB lead and a .05 with 2B lead

and one of these days I need to get back to the UW bookstore and get a .09 lead mechanical and some of the carmine red erasable lead they have there. Makes animation soooo much easier then having to sharpen the pencils constantly when you're doing precision linework, and the lead is just too soft for the .05 to be practical - it breaks constantly

They also make blue lead in .07, just fyi. It just takes looking for it. I lost my pencil box that had my .07 red and blue lead and it was sad. I've gotta replace.

So now I'm learning why Watchmen is the best graphic novel ever. I read it when I was young, so now I have a greater appreciation (with age).

Jeezus, Chapter IV with Dr. Manhattan is so epically genius.

    guys
so the other day, the hr lady asked for me to send her some links to pieces of mine to send to my interviewers
and so i sent links to my webspace
and i realized, that if they really wanted to dig, they could remove the file name from the links bringing them to my /Artwork folder
and from there, if they went to the parent directory, they may find themselves in my doodles folder

    here is my doodles folder:
    http://frank05.critter.net/images/doodles/
there are some pretty nsfw things in there
i don't think i should be concerned, cause... it's nothing i presented and it's all on my personal web site
    but...man now i'm paranoid.

yeah other people have been like 'you didn't include this stuff, they had to go looking for it, if they find it then whatever, they can't honestly hold that against you'
but i should really try to hide it or something
    how do you do that?

Taken out of context, that may be the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.

Beav, alot of these sketches are hilarious. I don't think (other than the knoblin, possibly) any of them could jeopardize your interview.

    That.

It shows initiative. Also, don't forget the marker thing.

(I know how you feel, Beav. I had an interview for a company I hope to intern for and it scared the shitsky out of me. A cup of warm tea and an episode of your favorite TV show could calm you down for a little bit)

    But seriously marker> bathroom> memories.
