Selling my stuff online

I have a whole box of stuff I gathered that I'd like to sell somehow. It consists of some computer components, DVDs, and some musicial equipment.
I've sold one or two things to friends but I'd like to get rid of it all.

Only problem is I'm reluctant to put anything up for sale on ebay in lieu of so many people on a musicians forum I frequent getting ripped off.
Apparently Sellers can't leave feedback and, a popular con is for the buyer to file an item not received complaint, even if they do receive it, despite a signature request, when the item is delivered. among various other stories I've read.

That's just one example. I'm not familiar with craigs list but people also get conned there as well it seems.

I just wanted some opinions on selling stuff online in general and whether or not its feasible. A last resort for me would be to go to a pawn shop or ask more of my friends if they want any of this stuff.
Any input or advice is appreciated.

I have gotten rid of a few cats through craigs list. It is pretty straight forward.

List the stuff you want to sell with the amount of money you want

People contact you wanting to purchase your things

You meet the people they give you money you hand over your stuff.

If you have a bunch of media, like movies and albums, sell them on Amazon. Just match the lowest price on the marketplace and wait a while, they'll sell if there's any demand.

I prefer Amazon because people searching for stuff will automatically find your listing, whether they searched specifically, found it through browsing, or however they ended up on Amazon. It's also free to list so if you have some duds it doesn't matter.

Amazon takes a little more of a cut compared to Paypal+eBay, but I had a lot more luck selling there.
