So I've recently had a craving for a Dell Mini 9 for the purposes of travel and portable WiFi faggotry, but as of late I haven't had much money. To be honest I've been more interested in them mostly because they make perfect hackintoshes since they are fully driver compatible and its easy to do. Still though, I wasn't one to drop $300 bucks willy-nilly. Not quite impusle buy range.
So now I need to figure out if I should
A. Spend $200 on cool electronic stuff
[strike]B. Spend $200 on drinks / bars / movies[/strike]
[strike]C. Keep my $200 and try to be responsible[/strike]
[strike]D. LarLar[/strike]
Focus: Do you have a tiny computer? Discuss them.
Update 2:30pm: I chose "A"

I would love to be able to use a tiny computer to access wifi wherever I go and use that wifi to connect with my computer at home to access files and such.
my wife has an acer aspire one and loves it to pieces
t fandyien - depends on what you need it for. if all you do is internets and type up reports, they're perfect and you can carry them in your coat pocket
the hackintoshing made me interested in the mini9 as well but i don't imagine i'll get one because i just bought a vostro2510 and frankly i'd rather buy a bass guitar with the money.
but really full size laptops cant do much besides internet and word process anyway
and they get all hot
and they weigh like 8 pounds
Naww, man, having a full-sized laptop is all about being able to play old games in class. Like, the main reason my Mac exists is so I can play Fallout 2 during my two and a half hour lecture class.
But for other people I concede that you are pretty much absolutely right and these are a pretty good deal
I played the shit out of WoW on my laptop...
It's essentially a desktop now. All sorts of shit comin' outta mah usbs 'n whatnot. Dead ass battery (lol gg dell) among other things (GETS SHIT HOT)

The tiny laptop is like the least appealing computer product in the universe. I have pretty big fucking hands and all I can imagine getting out of owning one of those things is carpal tunnel.

It's not for you.

i mean like 300 dollars
and they weigh like 2 pounds
and you can internet and type papers
which is all i do with a computer anyway
The end times are upon us. So that money could be used to build an elaborate machine to kill yourself with.
it has a whole forty gigabytes of hard drive capacity
I guesssssss.
But it just seems wrong to buy a tiny little computer that is powerless to do anything but wi-fi and word process.
