Since no one else had made one yet, here's a new thread for games, television shows, and movies.

I'm stoked about Watchmen, the first movie I've wanted to see on opening day in a long time.

$20 for the Watchmen game seems way too steep.

I loved the part in that episode when Atom is like, "Oh no, they're replicating!" and Aquaman says something like "Yeah, and they're making copies of themselves too! Get them!"

The only one that's any good at all, really.

In the last B&B, who was the evil chick a mirror of? I don't recall any females on the show so far.

    Either Fire or Katana.

Well if she'd been an evil Katana, she'd have had katana breath.

Also, I enjoyed watching Joker's good counterpart, Red Hood, take on all those evil heroes by his lonesome. i hope we see him again sometime.

I enjoyed the Red Hood as well. Was the name Red Hood a reference to anything, or was it just something cool to call him?

Almost wished they would've made his good counterpart the Comedian, but then Watchmen would probably have sued them or something.

Before Joker had his accident at the Ace Chemical plant, he was a criminal known as the Red Hood. Batman knocked Hood into a vat of chemicals, and when he washed up later he was the Joker.

Years later, Jason Todd became the second Red Hood.

I just watched one of the B&B episodes I hadn't seen.

Why does Batman say enth metal or whatever so many times. It's like he's gloating!

Yeah, I had forgotten about Fire showing up in the Plastic Man episode.
I was gravely disappointed that evil aquaman (apparently named barracuda, unfortunately not one-in-the-same as ennis's character) didn't have any speaking parts. I was anticipating exaggerated tales of evil being retold.

Also, Faynor, you should really dig The Red Hood. I'm surprised you hadn't heard of him already, he was a whitey thrown into a vat of chemicals and turned into a superwhitey.

He can gloat all he wants! Nth metal is one of the few things that can hurt ghosts or something. Tell me you wouldn't gloat if you punch immaterial beings right in their goddamned faces.

Hell yeah I can punch ghosts! Fricking sweet! Check this shit out doggies!

I just wish I had been able to sneak in more Top Gun jokes before the old thread closed.

As for films, uh... I don't know. I keep thinking if it ever comes up that Christina Hendricks seems like she would be a good Jean Grey.

Because you would probably be murdered by the Shocker.

You don't even rate above a D-List villain.

Back when Tony Stark was living under an assumed name and making a new suit-- this was probably 6 or 7 years ago, when he was making that goofy looking "SKIN" armor, he ran into The Shocker on the subway.

The Shocker had a pretty cool suit during that issue. Tony's prototype suit had like no power, so he had to take a full strength blast from the Shocker's new suit to charge up and it nearly killed him.

    Yeah.

Wait. Is this the comic movies and games thread? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be one of those thread derailing people.

I heard that the Brave and the Bold is doing a regular sized season of 26 episodes, except they are calling it two seasons. Why is that?
