Specifically, how to track someone down.

I'm looking to get in touch with a friend from High School. Only prob is that we graduated in 2000. I've tried google and classmates.com with no luck.

Any ideas?

www.facebook.com is a pretty good place to start.

Get a phonebook from your hometown, call their parents, and ask what they're up to these days and can you get their phone number. Of course, this only works if the family hasn't moved.

Have you tried calling your high school? School often try to keep track of alumni, and you might get lucky with an understanding secretary or guidance counselor.

Of course, it might be illegal for them to give out that information, I'm not sure.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
