    One time when I played D&D, one character died (mostly due to bad luck), but it turned out to be a good thing.

    Because then for the next adventure we had to do a job for that character's rich grandfather, to pay him back for the resurrection.

    Was it just me or was the last podcast (regular PA one not the DND one) really boring? Like, just some dull conversation between dudes.

    I mean, I'm not expecting twenty seven inch phallus levels of hilarity every time but it's kinda flat.

    tabletop RPGs just aren't for everyone

    i've tried at various points to get most of my friends into them, with mixed success

    the reality is that they just hold zero appeal to some folk, ain't some kind of judgment on their characters but it's just how it is

    but man that is not an opinion some RPG players understand and they get all huffy if some people aren't into their thing and can't accept that their friends don't like em
