Would it be possible for me to buy the game (Orange box) physically here in Germany and then use the key to download the US version from Steam?

is there something wrong with steams server list? I keep on joining empty servers even though I'm constantly refreshing the list and joining seemingly populated servers
Apparently there is a way for pub servers to inflate their numbers in the server list. I have no idea why they'd do that, but yah. Unless you're talking about our servers, then I have no idea.
yeah talking about random servers. what the hell, how is that useful? no one is going to stay in an empty server especially after being tricked into one
Played loads of FPS titles. This seems like it will be somewhat similar to Wolf:ET in some ways. I got pretty good at that game. Enjoyed playing Fops, so few of them would actually hand out ammunition. As a medic, I'd actually focus on keeping team mates alive (and again, there were medics who would use the regeneration to play as an uber soldier).
Engi sounds like a decent start. Playing defense is generally a good starting idea in most games, as the action will be a little slower, and you'll have more time to be able to learn the flow of the maps.
Also, I'd like to throw my hat in on the Blutsauger or however it's spelled and say that it's a load of shit.
I got the jump on a Medic last night, set him ablaze for several seconds, and then as he was backtracking and sucking my life force I kept shotgunning him. Got off at least six shots. I went down first and the jerk still had around 25 health left.

yeah, but more than likely the pyro is going to get us medics killed if we follow to the end. its better to overheal them up to the point of no return and then cutting them loose to unleash hell.
im not going to post my medic stats. the averages for the most part are about .3 pts under mandalore, but i have 25% more deaths in like 1/8th the time played
edit: @sheep: dont run straight at him. he's backpedaling and sending a stream of healing needles at you. if you run straight at him it's going to negate any burning dmg. you ahve to strafe the entire time and make half those things miss to get him down. its w+a/d+m1

server admins spoof the player count. it's very annoying.
They can also spoof the map that shows up on the list. Fucking says dustbowl and redirects to Egypt upon joining. I should have read the server name as it said "Test. Join at your own risk".

Yeah I havent been able to do much either. I tried installing a few things in steam and it wont work and I only managed to even look at my comunity page after restarting it and refreshing the page a few times. Im gona try tf2 in a second.

Why can't you just use steam to buy the whole thing? Seems a lot easier.
There is a "activate a steam product" button on your games page where you can put in a key, so it might work, but I wouldn't guarantee it.

Edit: Also, do my points per hour thing here include time spent spectating? Because I used to do a lot of spectating. At one point an hour every day.
