So, I'm kind of dumb about this kind of thing sometimes.
I figure I'll just ask.
To write dual layer DVDs, do I need a dual layer writer?
I have a DVD drive in my laptop, but is it likely that it'll write to a dual layer disc?
Don't make fun. Hahahah.

Yes, you need a dvd writer that supports writing dual layer dvds.
Your standard dvdr does not have DL writing capability.
