Venture Brothers - aka the new Metalocalypse Thread
So we all know what it is, however, with season four just weeks away I kind of forgot most of season three. Did we ever get an answer in that flashback episode on what Dr. Girlfriend said to the Monarch in their James Bond escape capsule? Can anyone remind us how Season Three ended? Who died, who hates who? My favorite episodes were when the Monarch kind of threw away the blind hate in the interest of self-preservation, but I can't remember if he got over his new hatred of all things Venture by the end of the season. All I seem to remember was the Guild flashback episode, the cuttlefish guy, a little bit of Sgt. Hatred, and the episode where Jonas Venture is having a party gone wrong. This wouldn't be an issue if it didn't take a full year and change inbetween each fucking season.
Edit: I guess we are now delaying Season 4 until October?
Season three wasnt near as good as season two. Plus there were a ton of just, weird as hell moments.
Anyway the secret was that the Monarch had to quit arching venture because the guild wanted him to, and they used Dr. Girlfriend to manipulate him.
The ending was that Brock quit working for OSI and 24 is dead (or was it 21? I dunno the skinny guy.) Also all the spare clones are dead and I thiiiiiink helper might have to be rebuilt :S

Brock didn't quit, Brock was terminated, and marked for death, and OSI is also infested with Guild members. The Monarch is back to arching Dr. Venture as he found a convenient loophole that lets him take Sgt. Hatred's place (who is a wreck since he thinks his wife is leaving him). Hunter Gathers is now a member of the Blackhearts.

Uh yeah. The blackhearts set him up so that he would kill off all the mercenarys. OSI went to rescue him and offered him a new job. Which instead he quit his current one and Sgt Hatred stepped up to take the job offer at the end.
The guild started as a shadow group inside of OSI but they are seperate now.

Which is funny because he used to work for the OSI before going rogue.
I never did see all the episodes of Season 3, my DVR fucked up and I missed a ton of them, luckily there's plenty of time to get some DVDs before Season 4 comes out.
I thought it was fairly well established that it was the moppits who blew up 24.
I would have to see the episode, but I think i remember seeing them outside when the car blew up, and Dr. Girlfriend left the remote on the seat inside the cocoon.
I am hoping he is alive in Season 4 like how the boys were in Season 2. Then they could just say he was also cloned
Doc and Jackson have said repeatedly that he is actually dead and won't be coming back.
I can still cling to the hope that he comes back as a ghost or something though.
Also everyone seems to forget that Brock quit and we still don't know who set off the bomb that killed 24 and HELPR
Are you kidding me? You trust those dudes? They'll bring him back in the eleventh hour, out of nowhere, to the raucous cheering of a million nerds crying for joy.

I think there was a scene where they found/stole it, though. Not sure, but I feel like I recall that.

Season 3 was not near as amazing as 2, it was still good though, cant wait for the dvd. Just a note, LISTEN TO THE COMMENTARIES. Doc and Jackson are just as, and oftentimes more entertaining than the show.
