I was about to post this in the Road Trip USA thread, but I didn't want to hijack it.
I'm cycling down the west of America coast in May. I've been to SF, Portland, and a few other places in Oregon, and I'm planning on seeing the major cities on the way. Can anyone offer any suggestions on other things that I shouldn't miss along the Pacific Coast? Being on a bike, I don't want to travel too far inland (although I do plan to visit a few places once I'm done cycling, the Grand Canyon for instance).
