Talking costs an AP. Warning here so others don't make my mistake. Might as well post in the thread.
I wasted 13 AP going down to the hospital to the southwest of Stark Building, only to find it's EHB and with six zombies in the neighbouring blocks. I wasn't going to go to the second hospital there, seeing as most of the horde was in front of that particular structure.
This means I can't search for FHKs... and can't really do a lot. Ugh.

Lets you do many actions without using up an IP hit, and in some cases saving AP as well, such as tuning a transmitter w/out clicking on it first (saves an ap)
Remember to copy pasta the command URLs in the window you're playing Urban Dead in, or they will not work.
Not to act snooty or condescending -- if anyone else wants to use that, I'm not gonna say a thing. Personally, though, those seem too much like cheating to me...

Normally I would agree but its still there, if it really was a problem I think it would be fixed, most of them are just commands I use to save lag (such as attack) as the game sends the commands via urls and sometimes my browser lags on loading the boxes and whatnot, but the attack has already occured.
I'm in the Hillard Road PD, and apparently they're fighting zombies in Luellin. If they're already active, it might be a good chance for people to get some xp.
Once I get some more AP, I'll head up to Cari and help keep an eye on things.
Yeah, as a rotter i am just kicking around until you guys get an Ntech. I saw a bunch of zeds foaming at the mouth near Hillard, so i infected a few harmanz and ransacked a building. No Wangs though of course.
Damn. I went out to find a place to search, found a zombie... Attacked him a bunch, headed back towards Stark, but ran out of AP right in front of the building.... I hope I get that 1 AP back soon to get inside.
So reading this thread caused me to decide to look up my old password and sign on.
So after 2 years of laying dead in the street, Lawrence T Daniels stands up and dusts himself off. Apparently somebody cured that nasty case of zombism I had during my hiatus.
Unfortunately, when I looked at the map it turns out that Scarletwood is near the very bottom of the map, and I'm currently in the very top row. Additionally, according to the color-coding on the map, the suburb I'm currently in is designated "Here there be Zombies." Sad, that this is where I used to operate my own revive point.
So if I don't decide to stop playing again, I'll probably be making my way south over the next week or two (gathering supplies and healing/reviving people as I go). I'm currently a level 9 Scientist, and fairly close to being level 10.
Technically on the Wiki that park is listed as a revive point before WANG got there, so it's probably not nice to kill anyone there. But you never know. Lots of zeds southward though.

Think I'm gonna start this. Seems like an interesting game.
I've read a bunch of the stuff, gonna go Firefighter and grab hand to hand and free running right off, obviously. Are there certain skills you guys need at the moment, once I'm done with that? And whats a good way to level? I saw something about smacking/healing fellow humans, is this accepted as okay? Don't want to piss off a random person.

Smacking other humans is not only frowned upon, but also isn't nearly as good as smacking zombies. Each hit you get an xp amount that equals how much damage you do. In PvP situations (human-human, zombie-zombie) that xp is divided in half and then rounded down. So right now with your axe if you attack a zombie you get 3 xp per hit. If you attacked a human you'd get 1.

Wait, where do you find this color coded map?
If you go on the Wiki and hit Map's you get an awesome map color coded by zombie activity.
So I went out, whacked some zombies, bought Bargain Hunting and I'm going to find the closest mall and stock up on AMMO. After that I'm going to start gun training.
So I'm in St Telesphorus's Hospital and since I last logged in some dude died of infection and turned into a zombie. One would think everyone would go "AAAHHH A FUCKING ZOMBIE" and kill him but I'm guessing we're supposed to just ignore him and let someone rez him or whatever? Seems silly.

Speaking of the NW corner... I'm dead outside the Cari Museum, halp?
You'd get good XP from healing, but PvP is 1/2 xp, it's to cut down on people farming lowbies. Get more xp healing or bashen zeds.
Also 3 Dong is the most awesome thing to happen to Scarletwood ever.
The we should probably put that outpost up there...

edit: "there" meaning in game and in the wiki.

Would that be against the rules? Even if he just broadcasts?
XBL
Possibly. You'd want to wait and do that once we have another building taken over with a transmitter in it.
Become a Harman, find a radio, and tune it to 28.69.

If you don't have an extractor, beats me, maybe leave him alone.
I have an extractor, he isn't wang but he doesn't have cortex damage either.
*edit* someone else can deal with it. I have no combat skills. I do however have 8 syringes now and I fixed the revive point tag.

Never, ever apologize for that.
