PAX 2006 was my first PAX, but it sure as hell wasn't my last. I'll never forget that weekend in late-summer when my friend and I flew up from Santa Monica, CA to Bellevue, WA to experience something quite new to us. Never have I fitted in more than during those three days at PAX. Everything from the concerts down to waiting in lines was awesome. I knew that I could crack a 'massive damage' joke in an elevator and people would get it. I joined a random Battlefield 2 Tourney team. I played Guitar Hero with complete strangers, who at the end of our game, was someone I felt I knew. I even received invaluable advice on breaking into the industry from Frank O'Connor of Bungie. I just want to say thank you to every single person who attended PAX and made it the best damn way to end a summer. I'll see you all at PAX 2007!
