I would have been happy either way. I like Tom Izzo but I like Hansborough too. I just wish it was a better game.

Heck yeah! That trophy will look nice next to my 2007 SE++ yahoo bracket gold. .. and the unmentionable bronze from last year.

A boring end but the tournament itself was anything but. It was loaded with upsets and great performances.

I honestly can't remember any great games (excluding the nova game), it just seemed underwhelming. there were upsets but the big ones were just first round, no cinderellas. I did miss a lot of games due to work so maybe that is why this year didn't stand out as something special

I guess you missed all the good ones. Ever game with Pitt was a nail biter, no true Cinderella but my alma mater beat the piss out of Wake first round :) and there were quite a few others worth watching. The Onion hit the nail on the head with this one:

Gonzaga/Western Kentucky was another great one

although I think calling it a "great" tournament is a stretch

It doesn't help that the Syracuse/UConn Six OT SPECTACULAR was right before the dance.

That was the best game of the year, and nothing was going to match it.
