yeah, getting that stack of Pyrite up asap is important. Doing towers up isn't about surviving FL, its about killing him before he kills you. Your demo passengers need to be keeping Pyrite stocked whenever they're not on top, so that you can keep a 10 stack of Pyrite going 100% of the time.
How do you do this? Do you rotate who's on top and who stays in for each shutout phase?
Build the stack as soon as fight engages. Make sure both Demos get back to 50 pyrite, then launch them. After that, ration the pyrite, launch only one every 8-9 secs to maintain the stack.
Then when the passengers get picked back up, don't re-launch them until the pyrite is full.
Any recommendations on keeping the pyrite stacks up for the demo who is being chased? That whole phase lasts longer than the duration.

obviously this is an exception, you'll just have to deal with it falling off.
however, it IS possible, if you keep your distance as a demo, to kite well enough that you have enough time to briefly turn around and fire a pyrite before turning back to continue fleeing.

I've been on a losing streak lately. Lost the roll for the Tide, Lost the roll for the cloth helm of Malygos and just today lost the roll on the spell power trinket off Sath. And later lost the roll on the Spoils by One. And while the Spoils are open roll anyway, BY ONE. arrg.
I hope people in my guild get there act together and get online for raids so we don't have to pug for everything.
Happy: Healing a few heroics today on my fresh 80 resto druid netted Sash of Blood Removal, War Mace of Unrequited Love, Annhylde's Ring, a blue healing helmet from UK and a few balance items.
Annoyed: A few people in my guild won't stop complaining about the new "gay purple" Argent skeletal horse.
I've even tried explaining the "better" (Though, seriously, the new one is cooler.) mount is actually much easier to get (with the rational that 20 days of the dailies and picking the pouches every time amounts to about 2000g's worth of dailies, plus 2000g more if you figure you could sell two pets for at least 1000g each), but the guy just says "wtf, I could get like 20 epic mounts for 400g".
We used to have a guy in our guild who would do retarded stuff like that. He disappeared one day and no one noticed he had been gone for a while (read: no one was arguing in guild chat for hours) for like a month.
Hate: I did a heroic Gundrak with this guy as the tank. If you look at his armory you can probably guess what happened: got to snake boss and wiped due to him not only having terrible gear and gemming but because he was also a terrible tank. He dropped group right after the wipe though, calling us dumb, but saving us on wiping on the boss multiple times and/or having to kick him. We got a tank who knew how to dress themselves and burned through the place.

he's over-gemmed for stamina, but his gear looks solid.
Am I missing something, because while that guy might not have optimal gems/enchants I'm really not seeing how even an incompetent healer couldn't keep him up. Hell, he could probably keep himself alive if the dps was good.
The +25 frost resist +30 stam on his helm is a bit weird, but I suppose it could be possible he doesn't have his faction up to exalted for whatever one more suits him. (Which is sad if true since he's wearing Ulduar gear)
Hope: My guild gets a bit more consistent in the future. Last night we had an awesome run with our group 2. Tonight, 2 people who said they'd be on weren't, and one of our healers was online but wouldn't come. Despite saying he would earlier. As a result, we had to wait around an hour 15 minutes to start everything up, and by that point a few people were in such a pissy mood they didn't feel like dealing with progression wipes on Wardens.
Really wish we could raid just one week where both our groups got to run on all scheduled nights and we were actually capable of clearing the damn zone.

Perhaps he simply hasn't discovered the defense/stamina enchant from the Argent Crusade yet.
And its always possible that he has chosen to enchant an old helm with the frost resist, while using a newer helm with the Argent Crusade enchant. We may have caught him in that helm. The rest of his gear, besides the extensive stamina gemming, is appropriate.
He may also have logged off in a bunch of high stamina gear to flex the armory peen for some dumb reason. Dude's got a lot of ulduar and naxx 25 gear, it seems likely he's have a better weapon than the Hammer of Grief. It's possible he doesn't, but still.

Curse Armory for making me look a fool. He had different gear on in our group where he had 34k stam unbuffed and like 20% dodge, 10% parry, and 520-something def (he's still not def capped for heroics in his armory gear even). I was doing fine, running away from snakes and tossing HoTs and Swiftmending, spamming Nourish and refreshing Regrowth whenever I could, but eventually I got overwhelmed with snakes due to DPS and tank not keeping them off me. So I ended up wrapped and even though I had all of my HoTs on him, he ended up dying due to a combination of Poison Nova, turning his back to the boss to move him, possibly getting crit a time or two, and not using a cooldown to save himself. I guess you could say it's partly the dps's fault for not breaking me out of the wrap, but still the tank didn't do much at all to try and keep them under control besides DnD once at the start of the fight. I'm guessing he was in a stam set (and possibly still is partly wearing it?) and dropped group to save face.

The paladin and warrior they are not too keen on. I don't know why, I think deekay just has many cooldowns which is awesome for some fights, and the obscene stam of the druid is also a plus.
Maybe our warrior just needs to start gemming stam instead of exp, think he's stuck in a TBC mindset in some ways.

Victoriously: Our guild did its first night of Thorim-25 attempts tonight. 4 hours of practice later, on the very last attempt of the night (we were already nearly a half-hour past our usual closing time), we got him down. Furthermore, I kept my DKP and the next closest competition for Worldcarver used up a bunch of his, so here's hoping the next Ignis kill goes well.

Some idiots figure that their guild should only hold members that will be raiding, and Justin just lost his raiding spot to an old member. It is stupidity, and I hope Justin finds a spot in a smarter raid that will advance past his old guild quickly.

Basically I joined a raid that was at Sapph last Sunday, and we killed KT. I was Arms, I rolled for BoH. I won! Yay!
Then Wednesday, I did the whole Naxx raid, mixing between Arms/Prot when it was needed. I actually tanked the last half of the instance after the MT of the guild had to bail. We killed KT, and omg, Last Laugh dropped! I rolled for it. I won.
I then told the raid leader, and ML, that it was his choice if he wanted to give it to me or to the second highest roll since I just won BoH too. They asked me if I wanted it, I said "Yes, of course I do, but I'm not gonna be mad if you give it up to the other guy. It's cool." This went on, back and forth, for like 5-10 minutes of me telling them they don't have to and them asking if I wanted it.
Well they gave it to me. Sweet.
Of course, the MT comes back home from his emergency, and immediately starts bitching that I got both weapons. I tried to explain to him that it wasn't my fault, and I gave the officer/ML/RL all the opportunities in the world to pass the item to the second person and he didn't do it.
Note, that he had done this for a few other items earlier in the raid, he Loot Counciled them to someone who needed the bigger upgrade.
So nothing really happens, I'm busy with the girlfriend for most of the weekend, log in this morning and bam, Guild tag is grey. Awesome. I asked one of the members online about it and he told me what I posted on my Hate thing there. That a long time guildy came back and took my spot from me, plus the lingering drama from the weapons debacle, which he himself didn't blame me for since he was there in the raid and heard everything I said concerning LL.
Also turns out that the MT ninja'd the guild bank and transferred servers. Though this member seemed to think it might have been his roommate, since his roommate had also been recently gkicked because of his lack of raiding spot. And they shared account info. Of course the MT is also leaving in 2 weeks to go Navy, which why I was recruited in the first place.
It's just a whole mess of stupid. It sucks because two of my RL friends are in that guild, my landlord and one of my college friends. They've both been gone for the holiday weekend, so I wonder if they're even guilded anymore too.
Either way, I have an app out to another guild that's interested in me already so yeah.
I felt weird carrying around "Damnation" on my holy priest. Luckily I traded it up for "Rapture" on my 2nd uld run.
