It's kinda funny how after seeing those images, I realize just how much Valve's attention to detail incredibly helps everything. The atmosphere and graffiti and lighting all make it a very complete experience.
I'll try out those levels soon, but for now, they look lackluster compared to Valve. I'm not saying, "how dare they?!" because I know that level of dedication would be extremely hard, but yeah, I'm just saying I'm very thankful for Valve and the kind of attention they pay to their games.
My main complaint with Death Aboard is that the whole "Opan eemargeencee dawr" thing is over done. I definitely needs some variation in the panic events. Rather than a stupid metal door, you could blow up some shit by shooting a gas truck, and have to fend off the zombie horde while waiting for the fire to die down or some such.
naniwa is terrible, dead city 1 is HUGE, absolutely huge, but not very creative
Death aboard i loved
I will back this up. Naniwa was horrible to play, and everything was out of scale. Dead city was horribly long and after about the 2nd 7 story apartment complex that I had to fight through I got very bored. I think in total there was 4 or 5 events in the first level. Death aboard was pretty good, the length was okay.
Is there any other websites to download L4D skins besides FPSBanana? I would say one of those planet websites, but I hate FilePlanet or whatever it's called.
I thought Zelda was stupid, but I only got a couple of rooms in before my AI team mates let me slowly die to a hunter. Right next to them. Have to try that one again.

A thought occurred to me regarding the infected and, more specifically, how we'd handle them in real life. My thought was that while my only concern in game is the special infected, in real life, even with weapons, I think the common infected would be more terrifying. The special infected would be scary as shit for sure, but the common infected would be EVERYWHERE.
In the game a horde is nothing. Back into a corner and melee to take no damage, but in real life if you were being horded by 30 common infected people, that would be more pant-shittingly frightening than seeing some big fat dude vomit at you or some lanky guy shooting his tongue at you. I mean seriously, could you fight off 30 fucking people?
That's what I was thinking about anyway.

It just wouldnt happen. Wed be fucked plain and simple. In real life you cant simply back into a corner and smack like that. Doesnt work that way. Theres no med kits that miraculously heal your life back up. If you get hurt, youre hurt. You aint healing that fast. It would suck and wed all probably die.

We'd all die screaming in a zombie apocalypse as much as we might like to think otherwise. The end!
No way man, bewteen l4d and loads of books on zombies we would have all the resources we need. Canadians can just go north and the zombies/infected will freeze so we have an advantage aswell. Go cold weather!

Me, Buster, Bio and Risen played through the three finished levels and they are fantastic
Pics coming
I wasn't too impressed by most of the first level, but then it got really good on the second level.
Trying naniwa city now
it looks like my connection is fixed for the moment

EDIT: Oh god damnit

I can't make up my mind
Happened to me yesterday, I think. Funny thing though, it took away my What are You Trying to Prove? achievement.

I knew something was missing ever since this game was released, but I could never quite put my finger on it.
I had three campaigns beat on expert, but now I'm down to 2.... I know for a fact I have death toll, but no idea which ones I still need.

Sorry, Echo.
Excellent way to get infracted, this. Consider this the only warning.

oh and deadcity/death aboard is pretty good
Space Harrier looks fucking awesome.
but harrier is all kinds of great
Harrier is awesome too.
Also, I'm scared of breaking my L4D with skins. Is there anything to do it automatically, or do I just use notepad++ and play with the stuff that way?
