    Also, crazy glow-in-the-dark tech armour.

What makes you think they're Geth at all? Their make looks distinctly Alliance like and some of them have “N7” markings on them.

    Fine.

    Robot hounds.

Also, the robot-esque things they're with are marked M1.

I can't see any markings on the dogs.

C'mon now. Those dogs were the easiest enemy to take out, They run straight at you. I just equipped shredder rounds and my assault rifle and mowed them down.

But Robot dogs are a whole other matter.

I have to admit, watching the trailer made me want to go back and play ME1, and this time save my savegame instead of letting it accidentally disappear in a reformat.

I think he probably played it on the PC? There's a PC version of Mass Effect 1. I don't know if there's going to be a PC version of Mass Effect 2. Probably. I think that's likely. But since there's a PC version of Mass Effect 1, subedii could've bought it and played it on his PC. Which has a hard drive in it. So he could've reformatted his PC hard drive and lost the savegame.

Don't think he was talking about reformatting the 360 hard drive. Which it certainly has, the 360 has a hard drive. But so does a PC. Sometimes it has multiple hard drives. I've reformatted my hard drive several times.

I play games on the PC.

Whilst I know this is probably some sort of snide remark about the PC version, I can't honestly figure out why. The PC port was actually really good.

Either that of you genuinely didn't know there was a PC version, which seems pretty unlikely by this stage.

It's just a rib about how 360 owners don't really live in fear of this happening. That's about as snide as it gets.

I'm quite sure the PC version was good. And that anybody who played it, likely enjoyed the experience.

ok, fine, but I don't that, of all the consoles in the world right now, 360 owners should be making fun of any other platform in regards to technical failures. I'm sure plenty of 360 guys lost their saves...

But yeah, ok, it was a joke, we get it.

People lose their save if they mail the HD with the console, and I heard of people who did that.

    Shadows?

It would be a terrible overstatement to call the random non-standard shaped shades of darkening over random objects at bizarre, obtuse angles shadows.

Well I don't really live in "fear" of it happening either. The re-format wasn't a sudden thing, it wasn't a trojan or anything, I just wanted to do it because I wanted to clean up the PC a bit and it seemed the most expedient way. I just forgot that I wanted to back up the savegames first.

And yeah, if we're talking on technical grounds, I wouldn't say the 360 is exactly immune to problems is it?

We drain three planets a day for the resources necessary to use those flying cars, when a simple thermal based public transport system would be far more viable for the long term well being of the galaxy.

Just say no to galactically unsustainable business and environmental practices!

methinks kaylee saunders went back to making AI again.
that was her name right? from the first book..

This, in the book Kahlee goes her own way after it is all over and done with saying the alliance has positioned her on another project. It would be awesome if this tied in somehow.

I don't really like the humanity in the Mass Effect universe, at least parts of it. They are all "Yeah, were motherfucking humans, what you gonna do about it, aliens?! We ain't gonna play by your rules, fuck no!" Always whining about their position in the galaxy when in just few decades they have gotten nearly on par with the other Council races and it took them thousands of years to get to the point they are.

Developing illegal AI (AGAIN) would just be par of the course.

Hmm, M1 on the armor of one of the units above.

Doesn't strike me as Geth, but definetely semi-robotic and kickass. The letter and numbers system is traditionally Alliance Military. Cereberus doing research on hybrids perhaps?

Interesting, I just kind of assumed that was Ashley.

Wardlords, crime gangs, dive bars, and the seedy side of outer space were all things I really wanted to see in ME. This news makes me a happy panda.
