Man I beat this today with my girlfriend. All we managed to max out was the M9. Going to do another play through next week and try to max out the Handguns and the Magnums.
Also she made me get the Stun Rod for the achiement.
Get the stun rod. Running around Chainsaw guys just wacking them with it is so much fun.

If you liked RE4 you'll like this. Also if you plan on playing coop all the better.
Main thing that I hated about the game (that I overall pretty much liked as a game) was the inventory system.
In RE4 you could buy a bigger suitcase and you had enough space to carry shit. I realize a big part of making it tense and more difficult is making it so you can't carry much, but seriously you have to spend way too much time mixing and matching different things to make room for a few more bullets that you're going to load up immediately anyway. Then if you can't make room you have to call your partner over, get them to hold some shit, or exchange some stuff with them and oh my gosh it was so frustrating and took way too long sometimes.
Have a full inventory but need that ammo on the ground for your empty gun? Can't just pick it up and load it all in one motion. You have to discard or use something else. Make room for those bullets and then load them in.
And yeah your partner is basically your second suitcase but having to constantly barter with that asshole is annoying.
It just ruined the pacing for us several times, that and when you're fighting like two gatlin gun carrying fucking zombies you dont have time to combine ammo, barter with your friend and complete a game of monopoly just to get enough room to pick up a few more bullets.
I had fun with the boss fights playing on normal. Had to try one or two again a few times, but yeah on the whole normal is pretty relaxed. Not sure what difficulty you're playing at?
Normal. For the most part I only died from instakills. The game keeps you pretty stocked on herbs and there's way more first aid sprays than in RE4. There's a lot less money though.
And one thing that sucked. When we beat it, his roommate decided he wanted to take part in the new game + so he signed in on his profile.
And the new guy was limited to the single starting pistol and a few rounds while the first player (my friend who started the NG+) had tons of shit from the previous playthrough.
We thought, oh that's okay, we'll just give him some of the extra guns we have. Can't do that. Turning on infinite ammo with a 2nd player who hasn't beat the game doesn't work either.
Dumb.

Infinite ammo is only for the player who maxes the weapons stats. So its not dumb?
Yeah it's not that long of a game. Me and my friend beat it in a couple of sessions.
Probably would have beaten it about an hour or two earlier if we knew what the hell we were supposed to be doing in some of the humongous fights late in the game.

i still don't see what was so rascist about shooting black zombies in africa
was there some horribly rascist that i missed i never really followed the controversy
the trailers had a lot of racially-loaded imagery
believe me I posted very calmly for like 20 pages with Defender and Munkus before ending my social experiment to see if I could actually convince people of something if I didn't call them cunts
They mixed up the zombies racially so much since the first trailers.
Now there are middle and far eastern zombies in a lot of the first villages. I don't even know if you could say there was a majority black zombie population.
