Listening now
I am going to continue listening to the doors
Which song is it?
edit: it's a cover, The Giant of Illinois was written by The Handsome Family, says Wikipedia
Man what do you know 'bout being a doors fan?

yeah that's not his, he's covering it
just try listening to The Mysterious Production of Eggs of you're interested
How odd, I have the same situation with my iPod.
It is a good song though so I don't mind when it comes up. This Bird fellow is alright in my books!
Alright, but mine has room for both Mr. Stevens and Bird

man, I love Zune Pass
It's okay, man. You need a hug? I got a hug for you.
I haven't been able to laugh or smile since I heard the news
i heard andrew bird and i came as fast as i could!
99% of my best pieces of art were done while listening to the mysterious production of eggs including the owl boy one and the fox and rabbit (owl boy is off frame in my sig, but fox and rabbit is right in the middle)
and I'm a better Andrew

How do you feel about Bon Iver, Koshian?
And the new Cursive album, if you're into them.

Edit: Also, holy shit. I just noticed he looks a hell of a lot like Cillian Murphy in this video.
Actually, I only discovered one recently. Heretics. I love that song. The second song I discovered after hearing of him. That song was the first one posted. Fake Palindromes. And I know that video has nothing to do with the song and the song has nothing to do with the show, but forever and ever from now until the end of time I am going to associate Andrew Bird with Pushing Daisies.
I haven't listened to the rest of his stuff though I have it all. My brother gave me the whole lot. It's sitting on my HD waiting to be played. But so is a lot of other unlistened to music. So he'll wait his turn. But thanks to this thread I'll bump him up in the queue.
When I'm done with my current Röyksopp obsession. Which will be in a few months after Junior is out and gone. But then again when Senior comes out I'll be pulled right back in.

bon iver is the shit
I was hoping to go see him at the Chicago Theater as I've heard great things about his live show, but there are so many bands playing in the next two weeks that I don't know if I'll be able to fit it in

Bon Iver is pretty damn fantastic.
And the new Cursive album, Mama, I'm Swollen is fantastic. I love it. Opens with 'In The Now', which is a great hook. It's a lot more accessible than Happy Hollow. It's got more tracks that are great by themselves. And the last track, 'What Have I Done?', sorta reminds me of the way The Ugly Organ ends. It's got that same feel. Great, great album all around. Highly recommend it.

I wonder if they still have the vinyl set for sale, the packaging was really nice

8-)
Follow me on Twitter??
I'm seeing him in a few days in Dallas
convince me
the songs in the OP have not convinced me
This reminds me. I was pleasantly surprised to find a copy of the deluxe release of the Arcade Fire's Neon Bible at Best Buy last week. I was pretty happy, because I didn't even see any deluxe editions around here when the album first came out.
Finally got my damn flip-books.
