Problem with my drawing tablet

I have two computers, a laptop and a PC, and on both of them my operation's system won't start up when my Wacom tablet board is plugged in. Anyone who has a solution for that?

    This may sound really stupid, but have you tried plugging your tablet in when your computer is already on? My Wacom doesn't complain either way. If this doesnt work, try uninstalling and reinstalling its drivers?
