I had forgotten that the netcode for HL2DM was so screwy. I don't think they optimized it for dealing with the tons of physics objects that are inevitably strewn across the level.

Haven't read through the thread, but I found this very cool:
Stealth Deathmatch
Stealth deathmatch is, in essence, Half Life 2 deathmatch with two specific changes.
No new maps, weapons, or anything like that. Just:
1. All players are almost completely invisible, except when attacking, and
2. All players have a range indicator on their hud, showing the distance to the nearest player other than themselves, in metres.
These changes combine to completely alter the gameplay dynamics, and turn a fast & furious shooter into a stealthy game of cat & mouse, where feints, bluffs, and general sneakiness are the order of the day.
I need to grab my headset next time, though. I was lazy this time because my front panel Headphone and Mic jacks don't work (Don't think I plugged it into the motherboard hard enough because I was afraid of breaking it).

Yeah, I usually just try to switch to the SMG when I can't find anything to Gravity Gun.
I recorded demos of the druken brawl, and now some of it makes more sense. And while my aim is shit, I got a couple good kills on Job and iowa, so thats all that matters. ENJOY YOUR OWN VOICE CHAT. Worth it to watch at least the first one, where Asiina is very excited about toilets.

Man, the toilets are practically homing. I almost never missed with a toilet. And I appreciate everyone who helped show me the fan, it was beautiful. For a split second. And then it was horrifying.

I would so be playing right now but my LP videos are rendering thus my CPU is in heavy use. Anyway, I would so want a server!
Protip: For super-speed combine pulse balls, right click, then hold left click and mash your gravity gun button.
