I have to wonder what rank the highest-ranked random player is. In theory, you'd have an advantage in the early game because your opponent would have less idea what build to aim for. It'd probably take way too much effort to get good at all three races, though, when you could spend that time perfecting a single one.

Is random even allowed in leagues still?
In the foreigner scene Testie is definitely the best random player, though race-picker might be the better term. Still, I think his strongest race was Protoss.
Hwaesung Oz vs CJ Entus
(T)HiyA <Destination> (T)sKyHigh
(P)Young <Colosseum II> (P)Movie
(T)Lomo <Shades of Twilight> (T)Iris
(Z)Jaedong <God's Garden> (Z)Orion
The format was 2x bo7 matches, the above results being from the second bo7 therefore tying everything up 1-1. A single bo1 ace match was played to decide the winner.
(Z)Jaedong <Neo Medusa> (Z)EffOrt
Kind of sad to see CJ Entus come back so strong after getting destroyed in the first bo7 and then just lose it all in one game. The format is kinda weird, I think maybe a bo3 (with no player switching) would be better for an ace match. Oh well. JAAAAAEDONG.
Insane ling micro by Jaedong. Totally ripped Effort apart. I'd have to say Jaedong is my favourite player, and he (along with sAviOr) has made me love Zerg.
Also, I encourage everyone to check out Klazart's commentaries, if you haven't already. He does a great job.

Yeah that was crazy. He lost like two zerglings to Effort's half dozen or so in that initial engagement.
e: Woops I was actually referring to the JD vs Effort game from the first bo7, but I'm sure he was just as good in that game haha.
Also, I encourage everyone to check out Klazart's commentaries, if you haven't already. He does a great job.
He's great if you find his stuff entertaining but take all his theorizing and advice with a grain of salt. He's not a very good player. I'd point you toward some good commentaries but outside of Artosis and Tasteless, there aren't many knowledgeable commentators out there. It's more of a learning tool than commentary on Korean games though.
The TL user streams are pretty good if you want FPV games, and occasionally they provide some commentary. http://www.teamliquid.net/video/userstream.php
Any of the ones with the blue star beside them indicate a very good player. Lzgamer seems to stream pretty often, and Ret is another good one to look out for.

Today we announced that StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will not be ready for release by the end of 2009. Over the past couple of weeks, it has become clear that it will take longer than expected to prepare the new Battle.net for the launch of the game. The upgraded Battle.net is an integral part of the StarCraft II experience and will be an essential part of all of our games moving forward. This extra development time will be critical to help us realize our vision for the service.
Our mission is to develop games that deliver an epic entertainment experience. As part of that commitment, we will always take as much time as needed to ensure that our games and services meet the expectations of our players and the standard for quality that we set for ourselves as developers. As we work to make Battle.net the premier online gaming destination, we’ll also continue to polish and refine StarCraft II, and we look forward to delivering a real-time strategy gaming experience worthy of the series’ legacy in the first half of 2010.
We will share more details about the beta, Battle.net, and StarCraft II’s launch in the future. Keep an eye on the official website at http://www.starcraft2.com for updates, and as always, thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support for StarCraft II and all of Blizzard Entertainment’s games.

Today we watch Dangerisk play some D+ Korean Python a couple hours after getting four wisdom teeth out and half his face numb while still bleeding and clamping down on some gauze and maybe on some pain killers. http://www.repdepot.net/replay.php?id=18385
Macro goes to shit and I lose my 3rd pretty bad but rally for the comeback and abuse those Python corner expansions.

Man usually I don't give a shit about gaming paraphernalia but I would totally buy this. And god knows there are a ton of big poker players who play Starcraft, or used to.

So I forgot my iccup password and login, it was saved to my external HDD that died...how do I get it back?
I have the proper login and password but it is telling me that I can not login either because the information is wrong or that my account has been deactivated. I go to make a new account, every single name is taken. What do I do?
There may or may not be a password recovery feature on iccup, but if there isn't, just register a new account at the website (you might have to do it for a new email address, don't remember). You can't create new accounts via the Starcraft bnet interface.
some of the tf2 crew has been playing this lately. We usually have an FFA or something and join the PA vent so that we can yell at each other. old sc crew is welcome to join if they want. It's less than serious for the most part. except for me because winning is awesome.
if we get 8 people i'll push for a race wars game. were usually on at about 9-10pm central on battle.net
Jaedong and Fantasy played each other in the proleague finals. Spoilers:
First game was really strange. Weird build from Jaedong, but once he gets ultras he really seems to be owning face. Then fantasy comes out with a large number of tanks and rolls him.
Then they played each other in the second day's ace match. Fantasy built a barracks in the middle of medusa and rushed Jaedong, winning the proleague.
Edit: Someone in the TL thread mentioned Rekrul's picture in the TLPD.
The P3 and P9 (race-position) icons were switched midway. I didn't think they would do that... I don't think it was a good move, but whatever.
It's amusing just how heavily mirrored the two sides are in the beginning.
Edit: Wow.
I was all like. Hmm it's like a perfect mirror except one guy has 4 probes and the other guy has a dozen or so. Then BAM reaver shot, and everyone got 4 probes now.

Being played today, 11am EST. Format is 2x bo5. However, Idra is coming from the winner bracket so he only has to win one bo5 whereas Ret has to win both.

Idra 2-1 Ret
Idra 3-2 Ret

The match-ups:
Dinot (Z) vs. Horror (Z)
Idra (T) vs. Xiaozi (Z)
Bo5, winners move on to Semifinal
White-Ra (P) vs. Tarson (T)
IefNaij (P) vs. Brat_OK (T)
Same deal
results:
Idra > Xiaozi
Semifinal: Dinot > Idra, followed by Idra's typical ragequit/tantrum shenanigans
White-Ra > Tarson
Iefnaij > Brat_OK
Iefnaij vs White_Ra currently underway
