Hey, I have a few credit cards and it is somewhat hard for me to keep up with the due dates. Is there anyway I can set up auto pay every month so I don't have to worry about late fees?

Some credit cards offer this. Check the website of the particular cards you have.
Some banks have a thing in their online banking section where you can set up an automatic bill pay thing. You list the account number, how much you want to pay, name the card company, etc etc. I know Bank of America has this, but I'm not sure about others.

The caveat here is that this really only works when you know the amount beforehand. With credit cards, you won't know the full amount until the bill is due.

Yea forgot about that, thanks for clearing that up.

Well I am not using the cards anymore but just trying to get them paid off.

In that case, this is in a fact a pretty good idea. Set a budget for each card, then set up autopayments from your checking account through your bank's website. I have checking accounts with both Chase and UBS, and it's pretty easy to do this with both. I imagine the same is true of any bank with a reasonably mature website.
with my card i set it up so that it automatically paid the minimum balance requirement, then I would go back and pay more later.
That way when i inevitablly forgot to pay, it wouldn't matter

I do that too. I also get two reminders that it is due 7 and 3 days beforehand.
Although a friend of mine's wife told me that they locked her card down once because she paid her bill 3 different times that month (in varying amounts). They said they were worried about fraudulent charges, she said "If someone is going to steal my credit card and pay it off for me, I am more than glad to let them do so."
There are other alternatives to Mint of course, that's just what I use. Also found this:
For what it's worth, you're not giving Mint your bank account info. In fact, you're not providing Mint with any access to your login credentials. If I'm not mistaken, the only account info you give goes to Yodlee, a decade old company that acts the same sort of financial backend for Bank of America and MS Money, among others.
Not only do you give Mint no direct access to your accounts (like I said, the login credentials all go through Yodlee and only Yodlee), but you also don't provide them with any personal information apart from your email address. (Well, except your spending habits, that is.) There's no account numbers, no social security numbers, etc.
Yeah my cards suck. They only allow you to pay once a month.
That must be a bitch. I really dislike my credit card because there are no rewards and my rate isnt that good (although I basically keep a 0 balance month to month), but they are really flexible with payments and you can pay every day if you want.

If you're confused, just call their customer services.

So make sure your credit company won't do that.
Do look into this before you sign up
as secure as Mint is, I'm still not comfortable with anyone having my banking details that isn't myself
though I wish I was because it looks so incredibly useful
i've set all of mine to between the 1st and 3rd day of the month, so that i know when everything's due.
Thanks, I need to do that.

Is the once a month thing common?
