it constantly amazes me how a cat can sit there, inside a box, probably thinking something along the lines of I AM HAVE BOX AND HUNGERS MMM FOOD, and still look so smugly dignified

I have more sexyfundorable than I know what to do with!
Zimmydoom, Zimmydoom
Flew away in a balloon
Had sex with polar bears
While sitting in a reclining chair
Now there are Zim-Bear hybrids
Running around and clawing eyelids
Watch out, a Zim-Bear is about to have sex with yooooooou!
I am not sexy. But I am apparently often entertaining.

you have THAT much homework?
In two months, I'm sitting the exams which determine if I get into college or not. These exams are based off a syllabus that's taken a year and a half to cover for seven subjects. Right now I'm trying to learn off a minimum of two note books full of notes for English, Irish, Maths, Biology, Economics, German and Chemistry.
Also, I'm a dumb-dumb so if I wasn't working that hard, I wouldn't be getting my wonderful C- average.

Wow man you are fishing for compliments. You are pretty likable, even though you hate me. I can't quit you.
I don't think this sequence of words means what you think it means. If he was fishing for compliments he'd be all "Man bitches don't want my balls, they just want me to be their friend and listen to their gina whines."

Actually I don't hate you at all. Nor am I fishing for compliments. I enjoy pretending to be over-the-top to the point that it becomes absurdly self-effacing.
You need to learn how to: A) Not take things personally and Not pick fights over silly things.

It'll come back, assholes will be selected mods, abuse their power and have it ended prematurely, it is the nature of the forum.
So looking forward to modship?

Is it a bad sign that I am beginning to find Machiavelli's arguments, with respect to the nature of political rule, more compelling and internally-consistent/well-grounded than Locke's arguments on politics, the state of nature, and the priority of property in facilitating the formation of civil society?

anyone remember who did these damn spider-man comic edits? I used to know but I seem to have forgotten. He wrote for cracked.com for a bit but I don't think he does anymore.

No. Machiavelli was at heart utilitarian.
Ooooooh.
Now see, I hadn't thought about it this way.
Damnit now I'm going to have to incorporate that into my paper somehow.

I mean, predating Mill so he never identified himself as a utilitarian, but can easily be seen as a precursor in that school of thought, like the Epicureans.

keep in mind that Machiavelli was describing what he saw as the nature of political rule, partially as a criticism of it, not as advice or praise

Yes, your assessment is pretty accurate.

Entertaining isn't the right word. You occupy the mind. Like a positive AIDS test.

This is why I miss the whining forum.

Also, Lud: He wanted to make two and hang them off the back like the bull balls shit on redneck trucks. I vetoed that idea pretty easily.

That is an awesome opening post.
I'm always to slow in those forums. But I know myself I could never be a mod, the limited power would break me.

"What's this merge all button do" why is this even an option.
