Color Picker in Photoshop CS4

I must have screwed something up, or Photoshop is way smarter than I am.

When I open up the Color Picker dialog (this is Windows Vista x64 btw) it looks like this:
thats_not_white_whatd_i_break.png

Now, you'll notice that the hex value/rgb is set to what should be just good, old-fashioned white. But the color it's displaying does NOT look like white to me. Its kind of yellowish. I know Photoshop has color profiles, but I dont know what the heck those actually are, or how they work, or if they could be causing this. I thought #ffffff was white no matter what.

Does anyone know what I can do to get this darn thing to display the correct colors?

Ok, nevermind. I still dont know what was screwed up, but restoring everything in PS to their defaults worked. I've got my white back now.

    Thanks anyway duders.

If a mod could lock this up that'd be great.
