We had a lot of trouble with taunting on Thorim. Taunts would fail with no Miss, Immune, or Resist message.
Its better to not move out of the charge path. It hits for about 13-16k on heroic, you're far better off healing through it than risking people stacking up. Treat it like KT, and have everyone stay 10yds apart.
My guild got this achievement, but we did not actually do anything to earn it. What I'm saying is, we definitely killed all her little cat pets right at the start of the fight. It was strange.

There's been some achievement oddity. I was randomly awarded all four arena titles (the achievements, not the titles themselves) a few hours ago for going through a portal, and lots of people have been getting BG related achievements in raids.

God razorscale and ignis are a fucking nightmare if your OT is a retard.
On the plus, deconstructor is really fucking easy if your OT can manage to hold aggro on a few adds and everyone manages to dps the heart but not kill it. This was something I needed to highlight numerous times when the heart got to like 2%.

The bots can spawn from any of the four corners, and they almost always come in swarms because you don't see them spawn in the scrapheaps.

There are lots of achievements that you get just by virtue of doing the fight.
I swear if I hear one more fucking guild shout that they got the 'hot pocket' achievement...

YOU GOT THE SLAG POT ACHIEVEMENT?

SOMEONE DIDN'T DIE WHEN THEY WERE GRABBED BY THE MOB?
YOU CAN'T WIN THE FIGHT WITHOUT GETTING THAT ACHIEVEMENT ACE

I've actually heard is easiest to have the OT tank the big spawned add(s) out of LoS of the raid and burn down the lady without respite.
EDIT: But kill the sentries of course.

its very difficult to get the Feral Defender out of LoS to begin with, not worth it in my opinion.
Well we killed Yogg on Saturday at 3:45 am (well I guess that means Sunday) and I must say...that fight is completely amazing. Even more amazing if you're one of the people that gets to enter its brain as the strike team. Ulduar has impressed me greatly as a whole.
However, in the end we seriously went 0/12 on fragments and only got the automatic one from Yogg, so despite being at least several bosses further than other guilds on the server we will probably be the last guild to actually get a mace done because of typical bullshit rng.
Edit:
Also, the cats on Auriaya are not supposed to respawn, but they are right now and that's why guilds are getting Crazy Cat Lady. The thing is, they don't respawn with her so there's a good chance you won't even notice them while fighting; they respawn on their normal pathing and just walk back and forth in the back of the room.
We went into Ulduar-10 yesterday, for the only time this week (instance servers were down on Wednesday when we tried to get in there), with a group in mostly Naxx-10 gear with some various Naxx-25 pieces, and got FL and XT down. We wiped a lot of times to Razorscale, not sure what we were doing wrong, but the adds were overwhelming us. We tried pulling them into her breath, and it didn't seem to damage them much at all. Also, some times we would get 2 drill-things with adds popping out per cycle, but it seemed random, and once there were like 5 popping at once. We didn't really seem to be getting better at her, so we moved on to XT, where at least we were making progress with each attempt (pretty much).
For a 10-man guild who is likely to be behind the curve due to skill and gear levels, are we better to go for Ignis and Razorscale, or for Council and bridge-guy, whatever his name is? Assuming that we can get XT down again this week, of course.

I raised the wall. And I will be the one to knock it down.
Ignis and Razorscale are kicking our ass for some reason. The adds on razorscale are a fucking nightmare. If they gave them less hitpoints I think they'd be onto something. As it is right now dodging the fire that happens every 1.5-2 seconds is a nightmare while trying to pick up and kill adds while not keeping your back to them.
I think the instance servers are still a bit bugged because we've been getting 4 sets of guys on 10 man, and that's like .. 12 adds. Seems most people get 6 tops if they happen to get 3 a piece.

For razorscale, have a MT and an OT, and get them to pull the adds to the center. Focus on the casters first, then the big guys, then the dorfs that don't cast.
Assign one healer, preferably one that uses hots and can move easy, to use the harpoons immediately they are fixed. When razorscale is on the ground, kill razorscale. All DPS on razorscale. Keep the adds around razorscale to take incidental AoE damage. Everyone moves away from razorscale's mouth before she flies in the air.
When razorscale hits 50%, that's phase 2. Your MT has to kite razorscale around in a circle to keep from being gimped by the fires. Your OT has to taunt Razorscale if the stacking debuff gets too high on the MT.
If you can get XT down, you can get down Razorscale. Razorscale is actually easier than XT. Ignis is harder than the council or the bridge guy, but the majority of the difficulty of Ignis comes from A: his bullshit trash B: healers healing the slagpot and C: your tanks.
There are a lot of fights where the burden falls on the tanks to put up or shut up. Depending on whether you have tank gods or your competence is less concentrated in that area, your mileage may vary.
The bridge guy is probably about as hard mechanically as razorscale, but it requires the entire raid to be on the ball and not just the tanks. If you are melee heavy, the hardest part of the fight is making sure your melee is actually standing where they do damage and moving when they get eyebeamed. Have your DPS switch over to Kologarn when the right arm goes down, have your OT pick up the adds, and put one AoE DPS to help the tank burn the adds down. If you have a warlock, get them to put up dots on the left arm but otherwise leave it alone. Kologarn's center can be hit by a lot of incidental AoE as long as your melee dps is hitting the arms at the center.
When an arm goes down, its health is subtracted from Kologarn's total (10-12%).

The longer you take, the more adds spawn. It helps to have tanks with easy snap aggro, like paladins or warriors, to pick up the adds. Use the harpoons as SOON as they are able, that stops the spawning of the adds temporarily.
And avoiding the fire isn't that hard. It's a minor idiot check.
EDIT: Don't do Ignis if you can't handle XT and Razorscale. He is harder than the iron council, harder than Kologarn. HE IS VERY HARD AND SO IS HIS TRASH. YOUR TANKS MUST BE MUY BUENO

Our problem last night was our OT. We actually got razorscale down twice earlier in the week but last night we were struggling with 1. Probably because I had 90% of the adds on me.

Razorscale at 50% is easymode. Everything before that is the hard part. All you need to do for post-50% is warn your healers they're probably going to be cursing non-stop until she's dead.

Good, that means the other night I've reinforced the notion that we can't just take random people to fill 1 or 2 spots.
Guess how many died because of fires.

A lot of people will die to tornados because the tornados are BULLSHIT
Pull them back up the ramp to flat ground until you can fight them in the water, then fight them in the water. You sometimes get combo'd by the tornados because they head in your direction aaaaaaaaaaaaaand you get fucked. But if you fight with your back to the water, you'll at least mitigate any fall damage.
As for the scorches, those are controllable. If he casts scorch in the water, it fizzles. Only have ONE scorch up at any time, any try and explode any golems that spawn as soon as they spawn. Don't wait for two, it will become a clusterfuck very quickly.

The cats that accompany her to start were respawning for us on 10 man, on their original path. We had a couple attempts last night that went awry because we aggroed them after this happened.
Pretty sure that it's a bug and not intended this way.
Lots of Mimiron attempts last night, but no success. It's dumb. He should be dead. That fight isn't hard. Chaotic, yes, but it's really a lot easier than I thought it would be. But we just routinely lose people on P2, and then that impacts P3, and then P4 blah blah blah. P1 and P3 are fine. They are easy, even.
Also his trash is a nightmare.
I just really want to push on to the last two bosses. We're only a bit behind the top guild on our server, and while I don't think we'll beat them to the punch, we're doing a lot better than in the SWP days where they killed bosses weeks ahead of us.

Scrapbots are mechanicals, stunnable, and come in large packs.

Fuck.
Speaking of that my guild is having big problems with Razorscale.
DO you basically HAVE to get her down for good after the 2nd chaining in order to beat the enrage timer?
My guild, on 25m, did it in three drops, and we had no problems with the enrage timer. I cannot say for certainty that this is the case on 10m.
