I'm glad this thread showed up. I had forgotten that they had started the second season. I don't know why it got started at such a retarded time. Hopefully this is as good as the first season.

As far as I know, the show was actually cancelled (or at least "not renewed") at the end of the first season, but it was popular enough that they agreed to bring it back as a mid-season replacement if one of their other shows didn't last.
When the show came back, one of their ad slogans was "Hell's frozen over."

Wrong, they actually confirmed a second season right after the first season ended.
I had really high hopes for this show, man. I thought, "Awesome, it's like a power fantasy for wage slavers! You too can be a slacker AND save the world with awesome powers."
And then... they all got an apartment together for some reason and they cliched all over the place. Interest kind of petered out at that point. Did they swing it back around to awesomesville?

Decent episode though it seems clearer to me now that I don't think
Sam is the devils son.
I think maybe the Devil owns his soul but cant take it to hell unless he is corrupted. Sam himself isn't evil and might create more light than dark down there.
I'm confused where they've gone with the dad, at the end of last season it seemed like the mum and dad both were well aware he wouldn't die no matter what and were prepared for the eventuality but now hes just a happy zombie and the wife has left him.

Hang on, so you really liked it when they were doing the formulaic monster-of-the-week shit and hated it when it started to develop a story arc and they added Steve and Tony.... What is wrong with you?
Im catching up on hte last 4 eps, I'm on No Reaper Left Behind and good god...Nina has an incredibly body. Seriously, is she like a model IRL or something?
Nah, Jenny Wade is an actress. A really, really hot actress.
She's mostly just done a bunch of small roles in various TV shows/movies. Up to this point, the biggest thing she's done is the "Feast" series of horror movies, mostly looking hot and getting splattered with various amounts of blood and gore.
I only started this show a few weeks ago and have already caught up, and I gotta say, this is one of my fav, stupid, don't think, just sit back watch and laugh kinda show on right now. The thing is I know no one who watches it which makes me sad. Nina is a god damn smoke show and i'm glad she has become a regular cast member.
The only thing thats bugged me lately is that they didnt use any of that symbol that blocks the devils ability to see or hear what you're talking about with Alan.
And their plan for hte dad must have changed. At the end of the first season it was like this huge evil plot that he was still secretly alive and up to something but now hes just comedy relief dad.
Yeah, the last 5 minutes were really good, and it could have led to so many storyline possibilities down the road. Which made it depressing that the show was cancelled.
It might not be the final episode. The networks are in talks to possibly put certain canceled shows (like Reaper and The Unit) in syndication (though, I'm not sure how much more syndicated you can get than the CW).
Also:
Angel Voltron is on Sam and Andi's side. That's pretty good, right?
does anyone else hate andi I only got to the 7th episode for the second season and I kinda want her to get killed off
I think Andi is to normal for this show, everybody else has some fun quirks.
I'm sick of watching Andi jerk Sam around. I want him to hook up with some nice girl who's down to ride with the demon hunting and understand he's not actually evil.
Sock is someone I'd hang out with. He's always making adventure at the Work Bench.

In this case, syndication would mean that ABC Studios will create more episodes of Reaper and sell them to individual stations and affiliates, rather than being tied officially to CW or any other broadcast network in their primetime lineup (though that article makes it sound like they're aiming for CW Sunday nights, since that they don't have a national primetime lineup for Sunday).
Basically, if this syndication (or possibly cable) deal happens, there will be more episodes made; if not, there won't be. That's pretty much all that matters. I'm not sure how it would translate to the UK.
I dont think theres anything similar here, most of our series are very short bursts of genius or crap as it may be. Closest thing is probably soap operas, which have hundreds if not thousands of episodes, though I dont think the older ones are repeated.

I like this series, its pretty fun to watch and i hope it gets to keep going.
I'd also bang Socks sister like a second cheap drum.
Its like saying you don't like Ghostbusters or Bill Murray in general.
Or Die Hard.

Thank you, Rubacava!

How the hell have you kids not seen Twin Peaks?

I'm sad that this is the last season most likely.

Count me in as a fan. Haven't seen tonight's episode yet but I've been digging the show so far this season.

Anyone remember he actually had a brother for the first two episodes?
And whatever happened to Sock's ex-girlfriend lawyer character?
Yup, the show was cancelled. :x

I hope this syndication thing happens, but I'm not holding my breath.
And what happens if its syndicated? Over in the UK we just make shows then show all the episodes because we arent heartless.
