Good series of games today "darkwarriorva" (dont know your PA nick... ). You have a solid Vega and good all around skills. I hate playing Vega cause I can't fight him the way I normally do, regardless of the character I pick.
Anyways, Sagat is good, but I'd still say he isnt as noob friendly as lets say, Ken. But with some competence comes power overwhelming!
Oh also, I learnt some killer new combos for Abel! So im back playing him again! My favorite right now is j.HPxx c.HPxxL.Roll ->Super. Its easy enough to set up and use while dealing just shy of 50% stamina on average characters. Also it goes without saying j.HPxxc.HP->ultra is better but still...
Same nick. Great matches today. I main with Vega, but I actually lost to you quite a bit with him. Had better luck with Sagat. After you changed characters, I felt bad about staying on Vega all the time, so I switched it up, and some of those characters (Bison, Gen, Chun) I haven't fought much with. It seemed to me that you were more comfortable with Abel than anyone else. That damned combo that I can't get away from!
Funniest bit was the match where I played Ryu and barely beat you....I was fighting with the control pad as much as your character (I think you were Sagat then?). I'm trying to do a switchup Dragon punch as you land a jump to my left, end up with a low punch, a *Taunt!*, then a Hadouken comes out for the KO. Don't know what the hell happened there, but that was pretty much all luck and inadvertent button mashing.

You PA guys are a hell of a lot better to play against than most random fighters. No whiny crying ragequitters that I've found so far. Just people who want to play the game.
so I broke 5k bp this morning and Ive been in bp heaven ever since. I got to 5500 in less than 10 matches. No more scrubby 1-2kers for 1 point each, I was actually fighting some decent people! Had a sim catch me with a his ultra/teleport super cross up, I shed a tear of respect, lets hope it lasts...

i forever get antsy and fire it off too early and they jump right over it. so sad when that happens. also yea 3+HK, EX barcelona to izuna is pretty much the pinnacle of cool.
im so close to the platinum trophy... i can taste it! gotta finish the last couple hard trials for like 4 characters (of course all the ones left are fucking hard as shit, so thats going to take a while. ive got most of Gen and Viper, and then another random one here or there), and then beat arcade mode on medium with everybody. stupid arcade mode :x

Also wanted to give a quick pro-tip to all the fireballers out there in the streets. If you're fighting Abel, and he's low on health, the absolute last thing that you want to do is throw a fireball. That is all.

Something in my stick "snapped" last night. I haven't taken it apart yet, but whenever I use any down motion, something gets unseated. The stick still functions, it just makes really loud noises when I pull down > up.

Too bad our connection went to hell when we went Gouken vs Akuma to end it out. Oh well, if I'm on, definitely send me a request and if I'm free, I'll jump in.

Yeah, Sirlin raged about that on a few blog posts. Supposedly the upcoming Tournament/CE patch is going to modify things a bit. Assuming it isn't a baseless internet rumor.
Anybody else here mod their Hori stick with a Sanwa octagonal gate? What size drill did you use to make the holes for the screws? Considering I only have one of these things coming I don't want to screw it up and have to wait another two months to get another one.
EDIT: I played a Flowchart Sakura last night. FP Shouoken over and over and over again. Not quite the same effect as Ken's flaming Dragon Punch huh?

Ugh...my thumb is in such bad shape. I play charge characters all the time. You would think I would just learn that I don't have to push the control pad so hard to make moves happen. The joint of my thumb where it meets my hand gets rather painful.
I had one inexplicable taunt mail once...a guy had beaten me with Dan, and he sends me a message saying (and I'm quoting here) "lol u lost 2 dan!". Hey, I know he's been the joke character for, what, 12 years now, but I don't think it's the most hilarious thing in the world to beat someone with a character you know well. *shrug* I don't go sending messages to people saying "LOL! You lost to Vega! With his hopping around and his fruitiness and his yodeling! That's the funniest thing ever!"
