Another Edit: I know Abel has a long recovery on his rh.wheel kick. Is it possible for Gief to SPD him even when it connects?
According to frame data, all wheel kicks except EX can be SPD'ed hit or block (EDIT: I'm assuming it's not a counter hit, counter hits should make all versions safe AFAIK). So it's basically the same as green gloves.
So apparently my exclusive use of Vega has rendered me completely unable to use any other character in any way. It's so funny. I used to main Ryu, but picked up Vega with SF4 and I feel completely incompetent with anyone else. I gotta work on that.
I feel as though I haven't really played this week. I shall have to correct that this evening.
Watching vids on YouTube, I feel as though I lack any grasp on using normals; I see players that seem pretty good doing mostly jabs and sweeps and throws, where as I just use whatever special I feel is relevant to the moment. Perhaps I should forbid myself from using specials for awhile...

And how can Dhalsim's be easy? i can't even do the first action on his 3rd Normal Trial.
I don't know how he ranks to everyone else, but I finished 4 characters hard trialsm him included, and I'm not that great at doing all the hard combos. Some of it comes from using the 360 analog and others come from my lack of dexterity for that shit.
But for Dhalsim, make sure you're holding back on the 3rd normal trials to do the punches and kicks. When I first did that trial I was in the same boat as you, then I saw the trial video and no stretching was involved. So for example the third trial is moves you can cancel. First one you do b+mk then light yoga flame I believe. Another one if I recall is b+mp then teleport. etc etc.
All I know is he was the first guy I could do all trials with so he became my main, so take what I say with a grain of salt regarding Sim.

That's why I switched to the best 3 of 5 recently. I'm a pretty good adapter and it gives me another round to work with. If you're ever up to play again, I could definitely use some Dhalsim practice in case I fight the other two people who play him online.
HouseOfPainCakes... Wow, you are on another level of skill than me right now. I really need to learn more since it seems your always a move ahead of me. I think I need to relax more and not just throw moves out for the hell of it, and I need work on my pressure game. Anyways great matches, your Boxer and C.Viper are deadly as hell.

Had one of the better fights in my short online career. Playing against a Boxer who demolished my Rose in a previous fight. Anyway, we've both won one round and I'm on the last little bit of my health. We both have Ultra so I'm playing distance games with him and slowly chipping at him with Sparks and ex-Spirals. He throws me in the corner and that puts me on my last sliver of health. As I get up, he lets loose the ex-rushing punch thing of Boxer's but right before it hits, I shamwow him and win the match.
What a damn beautiful sight seeing that glove go through me. It was an awesome match.

Bison is easy, Dhalsim is surprisingly easy and I found Akumas were very easy compared to others.
