I just try not to miss an opportunity to make fun of Thanatos.

[chat] themes aren't exactly a make or break thing for me.

Everybody loves my chats. They just pretend not to because they like to think it's edgy. Also, they're jealous that they didn't get to make the chat thread.

Yeah, I keep wishing for a more cuddly pet. Cerberus requires constant attention because as soon as you take him out of the viv he's on the move and doesn't stop. And he's the kind of pet that if you lose sight of him, you may not see him again for 6 months.

    Or ever.

I can't get any rats in Alberta, but Degus sound cool.

    Or a rabbit. Or Ferrets.

And do you pronounce it the Classical or Ecclesiastical way?

I was given a [chat] once. I was pissed and didn't know what to do so I put an obscure youtube video in the OP and it died a day later.

It's not that big of a deal.

I walked into the kitchen a few minutes ago, kind of hungry, opened the fridge to look for something to snack on ... and what do I end up taking? A mushroom. From a thing of them I was using for spaghetti sauce. I take one mushroom and eat it.

    I'm a goddamn freak.

We had this conversation when I first bought him almost two years ago. :P

Soft 'C' pronunciation (You said the proper pronunciation is something like care-bear-us)

    So, Sir-bir-us.

Anyway, Cerberus is a corn snake.

Ouroboros was considered. Cerberus made the cut because I think it sounds cooler. I'd always meant to name a pet Cerberus, this corn snake is the first pet I've had that could be named (Naming fish is kinda weird when you really can't tell them apart) and I'm not a dog person. At all.

I also considered Khouri after my favorite character in Revelation Space, but it's in reserve for perhaps my next pet.
